Is integration scriptural? I realize we are pretty much stuck with it now but every time I read the bible I see integration as always leading to a group of people who oppose God and one day will have the Antichrist leading them.

I've never heard it put quit that way, but it's an interesting question.

The more homogeneous a group or nation is, the better they typically work and live together and the more they share in common; most often including religion.

The more mixed a group or nation becomes, the less stable they become. It's not PC to discuss such, but the fact is, different races, ethnicities and such are just that, different. Some blend together better than others, but part of that has to do with history and religion, two of the main factors.

Even among Christians we see differing viewpoints, lack of unity, infighting, and this even when those Christians are basically one people.

When we take the lost masses and mix them we can always expect the sin nature to bring about antagonism, power plays and fighting. No matter the nation or people, culture or religion involved, someone is going to dominate. When the dominate group loses strength and once lesser groups gain more power there are real battles for control. We can see that here in America today, as well as in many other countries today, as well as those in the past.

In America there are still many whites across the land who would like something like the old America restored. At the same time, many blacks have a very different idea of what they want America to become. Many Hispanics have another idea; Chinese yet another, etc.

In America we already see the falling away of the once dominate European, Christian dynamic. In it's place are attempts to put in place just about anything other than the old dynamic. Traditional European, Christian culture and religion are being disparaged, shoved aside, in favor of anything non-European, some form of "new Christianity" or one of the many false religions, whether Islam, pagan or whatever.

Amazing how time helps new paradigms become the norm. While most political and Christian conservatives stood against the unconstitutional and unchristian aspects of the "civil rights" movement, those who claim to be political and Christian conservatives today trip over themselves to praise it and try to gain some points by their association with such.

Like other nations that have gone the way America is going in this area, we can expect to end up the same.

Limited and free choice integration can work. Massive and forced integration is the building block of crime, chaos and war.

Different races are not different - in fact races are a man made construct.
Different cultures are different.
But are men, created by God and descended from Adam.

True, all men are men, but all are not exactly the same. To deny there are different races is to deny reality. God created a wide variety among the various forms of plant and animals, and the same is true of man. All men have the common father, all men stand equal at the foot of the cross, but God did create men with differences, which we call races.

The fact of different races in no way diminishes or elevates anything beyond Scripture. Original cultures stem from race, and similar ethnicities often have a subculture aspect along with it. This is true of all races as we observe their similar cultures and how they differ (for better or worse) than others. Thomas Sowell has written a good book on this.

Acts 17:26,27

[26] And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
[27] That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

John, these verses seem to tell me that even though we are all one blood God still set boundaries between the nations so that we might seek him. Seems to me if this is the case then tearing down the boundaries between nations and races (or whatever term you want to use) will lead to a people who will not seek God.

Mixed multitudes do see to be more prone to have little to do with God. We know the Lord was very specific with Israel as to how they were to maintain their nation, the limits upon others living among them and being integrated into their nation, and all these based upon following and serving God.

The mixing of peoples and nations seems a natural progression of man going his own way. Integration isn't occurring based upon being one in the Lord, but upon men trying to accomplish things on their own.
