Dwight D Eisenhower once was talking with John Foster Dulles about the legend concerning George Washingtons ability to throw a silver dollar across the Potomac River.  Dulles observed that the great width of the river would have made it impossible.  Ike, in turn, observed "But remember, a dollar went a lot further in those days"  :clapping::nuts:
