Members JerryNumbers
Geraldo: ‘All the white people’ are on ‘one side’ Why do they have him, he is not a fit for Fox News. To me he is the same thing he was years ago, & not a new reported at all. And I think he is very raciest. Angelmiss49
Members John81
Geraldo always likes to toss race into the mix any chance he gets because it draws attention to him. He's certainly wrong that all whites are on one side. The fact is, whites are more divided with regards to who they vote for. Blacks vote as a bloc, typically about 90% or more voting democrat each election. With the exception of decent hispanic percentages voting for George W. Bush, hispancis typically vote as a large percentage bloc for Dems. What's actually taking place, especially among white votes, is fewer are identifying themselves as Dems or Repubs. The independent vote is the swing vote needed to win elections. If independent voters continue to grow in numbers, it could spell the end of the Republican Party, especially if the Repub Party continues to be seen as a conservative Party, as fewer voters today call themselves conservative. The Dem Party has a solid base, and a growing one if they can continue to hold the hispanic vote and draw that group more firmly into their camp.
