Guest
What’s on the United Nation’s Agenda for you in the 21st Century? I wasn't aware of all the structure given to the United Nation's agenda for the 21st Century. They began looking at restructuring how man uses the earth back in the early 90s. I wonder how far the United States has bought into the policies of the UN? UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs Division of Sustainable DevelopmentAgenda 21 There is a lot of concern over just how this could or would impact U.S. Citizens.Youtube (Henry Lamb ?)General Internet (one of many)
Members John81
For the most part, the liberal socialists in America are all for the UN dictating policy and law to all nations, including America. Many liberal socialists here have voiced their full support for a variety of nutty, illogical, harmful and dangerous UN policies and suggestions for action. Unfortunately, a growing number of so-called conservatives and Christians are beginning to support some of the UN stuff, especially in relation to their "environmental" policies and those dealing issues involving the poor. Members Invicta
Here we have the daft European courts. The European courts forbid us to extradite terrorist suspects in case they are tortured, but we are allowed to extradite a businessman, who probably has not done anything wrong, to the USA. King Henry VIII stopped foreign courts (vatican) having juristiction over us, but our recent governments have handed the last appeal back to the papal courts of Europe. It actually saddens me to see what is happening in England. After all the years to work to protect the land from foreigners, to establish themselves as soveriegn, to keep separate from the Mainland, only to now being overrun by foreigners who are overrunning the cities, turning parts into virtual islands of other nations, and giving in more to the world system. Members JerryNumbers
Don't you think, the UN, is like our elected official, forever trying to gain more authority trying to become all authority, maybe both will not be satisfied until they hold to all authority as Hitler held in Germany. Members Oldtimer
We are slowly, but surely, moving towards one world government. Just as we are towards one world religion, with all the efforts to get all "faiths" to work together for the good of mankind. The United Nations is suceeding where the League of Nations initially failed. But the seed was planted. Quote: President Woodrow Wilson had been a driving force behind the League's formation and strongly influenced the form it took, but the US Senate voted not to join on 19 November 1919. Quote: The structure of the US federal government may also have made its membership problematic, as its representatives at the League could not have made decisions on behalf of the United States executive branch without having prior approval of the legislative branch.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/League_of_Nations 1Timothy115

However, the King is coming soon! He will set things right.
