Trayvon Martin case: A collision of race, guns and Florida law

Recommended Posts

I get a request for money from the NRA about once a month to combat the UN's goal to take awayU.S. citizen's guns. The UN has no business in our local law enforcement's business.

I didn't read the whole thread, but did you guys see how NBC shamelessly edited the 9-1-1 call to make it sound like Zimmerman was being racist????

The shame ended on them...too late as usual! They fired the guy in charge of that news segment.

Unfortunately the damage has already been done.....nothing takes that back now.

I'm getting a lot of mileage out of this quote these days :) ...

“Errors, to be dangerous, must have a great deal of truth mingled with them. It is only from this alliance that they can ever obtain an extensive circulation.”

The thing about it, on stuff like this, even when the truth is told, its not accepted.

Just as they did not accept the truth when they said Zimmerman did no crime, that group threatened civil unrest & disobedience unless they arrested him, convicted him, & punished him?

They do not want justice, they want revenge because a man protected him self.

In reading some of the news stories this morning it seems they are trying to spin things so people will accept George being convicted on some lesser charge. Whether that's the 2nd degree murder charge or something less is left to be determined, but from what has been put forth regarding Florida law, it would be almost impossible to convict of 2nd degree murder without a witness that would testify that George had malicious intent when he pulled the trigger.

The arrest and trial of George is nothing more than a means to placate blacks and liberals. Justice is not being sought or served.

What's crazy is that today part of the charges are that he "profiled" Trayvon. Huh? The REAL 9-1-1 call shows NO such thing....

They will have to stretch everything in order to build a case and likely try to talk George into accepting a plea agreement to avoid the risk of losing in court.

And at this time with the show that has been put on by a congressman threatening civil disobedience I believe they will convict him just to stop the civil disobedience.

That's what much of this is about. Placating the radicals rather than holding them to the law as the rest of us.

I hope they don't trick George into accepting something he shouldn't, such as a bad plea with phoney guarantees, or worse, just railroad him and toss the book at him.

My prediction is that the case will go into limbo for a while until people calm down a little more. Then Zimmerman will be convicted of 2nd manslaughter with time served (he'll probably rot in jail for the next two years while the lawyers milk it). He'll do some prison time and get paroled early and be moved to a secret location like they did with Casey Anthony.

The goal is to avoid the black riots that will occur if he is let off. There is no way this man will get a fair trial. He's already convicted. At this time it's all about future planning and timing to deal with the repercussions of the verdict.

Another issue they'll have to deal with is the Florida law and how it's applied. You know now that anytime a black man is shot in self defense this law will not apply. It will only apply to other races.

That about sums it up. This man will have to hide and look over his shoulder the rest of his life.
