Trayvon Martin case: A collision of race, guns and Florida law

Recommended Posts

I don't know if it's been expressed yet but this appears to have little to do with race and more about continuing a fight against 2nd Amendment rights.

A very one sided fight by those who want to disarm U.S. citizens.

That's a part of the liberal socialist agenda and gets brought up any chance they can. These people want an America were only government agents and criminals have guns. They want citizens to be totally dependent upon the government regardless of how many more people would be killed, beat, raped and robbed each year if citizens were unarmed. They also like the idea of an unarmed citizenry for when they decided to force their agenda on people.

The race issue has long been one of the tools used in this fight. They take the fact so many blacks are killed by guns each year and try to turn it into a racial issue. They use this to push for "protecting blacks" by disarming citizens. Never mind the fact that most blacks killed by guns were killed by blacks, and most often it's black criminals killing black criminals.

Had this story come out before Fox News, before internet news, the mainstream media could have, and would have, twisted this story successfully to get what they wanted. It's only because of alternate news sources that they have thus far been unable to do so.

Our citizens are not armed and we don't have too much of a problem.

There are a whole lot more guns in this country. If a law was passed calling for everyone to turn in their guns, only law abiding citizens would turn in their guns. The "authorities" wouldn't raid street gang to take away their already illegal guns, but they would go through the gun registrations of those who purchased theirs legally and raid their homes.

Beyond that there is that problem the liberal socialists hate, and that's the 2nd Amendment to our Constitution which guarantees the right to keep and bear arms.

Yes, if they took our guns the only ones that would have guns is the police, & the crooks, them no family nor their home would be safe.

Of course the crooks would love that, they would not fear getting shot while breaking into you home to rob & rape the women.

I saw where, even with actual evidence coming to light, there are still many liberal socialist college students holding marches for Trayvon and against George.

If only all these people would consider this instead:

John 11:25-26

King James Version (KJV)

25Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

And then give serious thought to answering this question:

Believest thou this?

All their eternity depends upon the answer to this question!

U.N. demands reparations for Trayvon

A Florida advocacy group spearheading protests over the racially-charged Trayvon Martin shooting has welcomed the intervention of the United Nations’ human rights chief, who has called for the shooter to be put on trial and “reparations for the victims concerned.” ...

U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay commented on the Martin shooting during a visit to Barbados on Thursday. ... “Justice must be done for the victim,” she told a media briefing in Hastings, on the southern end of the Caribbean island. ...

“The law should operate equally in respect of all violations," Pillay continued. "So, like every other situation such as this, we will be urging an investigation, and prosecution and trial – and of course reparation for the victims concerned.”

(Never mind the facts of the case, never mind due process, never mind the literally hundreds of worse crimes that have been committed, and continue to be committed, let's just string this guy up and pass out some "reparations". This shouldn't even have been a national story and certainly the UN has no business interjecting their bias into the mix)

Yes, & he has never been charged with a crime, yet I saw an article entitled, "Is He Flight Risk." I did not read the article, for if a reported, writer, is so stupid to write an article about someone being a flight risk when they've not been charged with a crime, I carr not about reading & wasting my time reading his article.

This ought to clear up why Mr. Zimmerman has disappeared. I for one don't think he has disappeared as far as the police and the District Attorney are concerned.
I think they have him in hiding to make sure he doesn't end up murdered because of the contract put out on him by the Panthers.

God bless,

It hasn't been widely reported but that neighborhood had recently had a series of home burglaries that's why he was suspicious. He was kicked out of school for drugs that's why he was staying at his father's home in this particular neighborhood. After Zimmerman asked him what he was doing and headed back to his car that's when Trayvon began pummeling him to the ground and told him "now you've got trouble". Now if that's not self defense to then shoot a man on top of you beating your head into ground I don't know what is. They make it sound as if Zimmerman jumped out of his car ran up to Trayvon and shot him on the spot. This man will never get a fair trial if there is one black person on the jury. Remember OJ?

There was no doubt once the government sent someone in that George would be charged with something.

Amazing he gets charged but the Black Panthers who publically put out a contract on George have not been arrested.

If you or I publically put out a 10,000 dollar contract for anyone to kidnap and bring in someone dead or alive, we would quickly be charged.

This isn't the first time the Black Panthers have broken the law and Obama's attorney general, Holder, has covered for them and not prosecuted.

I'm positive if I put out a contract for some one to be killed, I would soon be in the jail house, but not the black panthers.

Absolutely! The question is, why are none of the big name "leaders" in the Republican Party screaming about this? Why are the big name church leaders silent? Where are the big name conservatives demanding the law be enforced?

Mike Tyson on George Zimmerman: ‘It’s a disgrace he hasn’t been shot yet’

Mike Tyson thinks that George Zimmerman deserves violent retribution for the shooting of Trayvon Martin.
In an interview with Yahoo News about his upcoming one-man show in Las Vegas, the former heavyweight champion sounded off on the polarizing case:
"My personal feeling is that, as a young kid that was beat on by a bully, that was pretty much singled out—the guy [Zimmerman] stalked him, didn't follow instructions from a superior officer, when they said, 'Stop following the kid.' That tells you everything right there. But my all-around perspective, I wasn't there, I don't know what happened. But it's just so widespread and overt what happened. Even though this is the best country in the world, certain laws in this country are a disgrace to a nation of savages. It's a majority versus a minority. That's the way God planned it. He didn't want to do something about it, He wanted us to do something about it. And if we don't, it's gonna stay this way. We have to continue tweeting, we have to continue marching, we have to continue fighting for Trayvon Martin. If that's not the case, he was killed in vain, and we're just waiting for it to happen to our children. He'll have gotten away with impunity. It's a disgrace that man hasn't been dragged out of his house and tied to a car and taken away. That's the only kind of retribution that people like that understand. It's a disgrace that man hasn't been shot yet. Forget about him being arrested--the fact that he hasn't been shot yet is a disgrace. That's how I feel personally about it."
In 1992, Tyson was convicted of raping Desiree Washington, a beauty pageant contestant, and served three years in prison.
