The Five Phases of the First Resurrection
(1) Jesus took the Old Testament saints to Heaven at His ascension. Psalms 68:18 KJV, Ephesians 4:8 KJV
(2) The Holy Spirit and the church age saints are caught up to heaven before the antichrist Is given power in the Christian nations. 2Thessalonians 2:3-12, and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 also see John16:7-8 KJV
(3)The mid tribulation catching up will include the two witnesses Revelation11:3,7-14 KJV, the 144,000 sealed Jews from Revelation chapter 7 who where redeemed from the earth. See Revelation 14:1-4, and the redeemed dead saints from the first half of the Tribulation. See Revelation 15:1-4KJV
(4) The dead saints from the last half of the tribulation are redeemed from the earth after the tribulation. Revelation 20:4KJV
(5) The dead saints from the Kingdom age will be judged at the great white throne judgment along with the second resurrection sinners. Revelation 20:11-15KJV

Do you think 1 Corinthians 15 supports a pre-Tribulation Rapture? I heard a preacher speak on it, especially on verse 23, but don't remember exactly what he said about it.

1 Corinthians 15:51 refers to the church age believers who will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air with out dieing. The redeemed saints from the first, third, and fourth phase of the first resurrection all had to die before being redeemed bodily to heaven. the saints that live through the kingdom age also will not die.

2 Thessalonians 8-12 is a better indicator for a pre tribulation rapture. John 16:8 indicates that when the holy spirit came to indwell the believers , He would reprove the world of sin. So when He who letteth or controles the mystery of iniquity is removed so are we in the rapture.

Eric, do you like to discuss other topics besides prophecy? I'm sure you have a wealth of knowledge in other Bible topics and doctrines.

I am only a Sunday school teacher who God has given hunger to study Bible prophecy, but I would answer any questions to the best of my ability.

1. It opens up the Scriptures for better understanding. That alone is reason enough, considering God has placed His word above His very name. If you have a grasp of prophecy it makes reading Isaiah and the minor prophets much more profitable. Did you like that? Reading the prophets profitable? Sorry...

2. It matters to God. There are much more prophesies of the Second Advent than the first. If a person isn't willing to study the Second Advent what does that say about what they think about what God considers important?

3. The Bible says that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. The study of prophecy can be useful in soul winning.

4. It gives hope. The prospect of an imminent return of Christ should excite the believer and spur him to service.

Answer this..what practical value has prophesy for us today?

Bible prophecy coming to fruition proves the Bible is the word of God. An Example is Isaiah 30:18-24 which describes Israel back in Jerusalem living in the bread of adversity and water of affliction.

What are all the prophecies we can see right now that are coming to fruition?

Yet many professing courts the world & what it offers much more than letting Christ live through them as if Christ could come at many moment..
