It is not an area I am strong in, but the explanations at the web site makes sense. By changing to a 2nd door you have a 2/3rds chance of winning. Why, because you have chosen 2 of the 3 doors.

Seven years later..... :laugh:

Reading that article almost makes it sounds like your odds better because the game master is controlling things? That doesn't seem like an objective basis for this as a math problem.  But I'm not strong in weird math logic puzzles either - I like simple and straightforward maths.
