Members 1John2:15-17
I love the KJV because it is God's true word, not corrupted by man.
Members John81
After 400 years and a plethora of "newer and better ) versions pouring forth, the KJB stands firm while "they" keep trying to come up with a "version" to overcome it. Members John81
The Lord's Prayer, Psalm 23 and John 3:16 are mighty and powerful in the KJB but just not the same in the MVs.
Members John81
Psalm 103:1-5 was such a powerful, uplifting and helpful portion of Scripture during a most trying time of my life and has been so edifying since that time as well...as rendered in the KJB! I looked at those verses in a couple other "versions" and there was no power, help or comfort there at all. Thanks be to God for the KJB!!! Psalm 103:1-5 (King James Version) 1Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. Members John81
If the KJB was good enough for my granddaddies, it's good enough for me! :icon_mrgreen:
Members John81
When God turned me to the KJB, Scripture memorization became almost easy!
Members John81
I love the KJB because the enemies of Christ fear the KJB!
Members John81
The KJB isn't missing a lot of verses, the very Word of God, that some "versions" decided to leave out.
