Why do we allow women to sing in church

Ha! And here we have it, folks! The arrogance of the woman! Calling adherence to the scripture "extreme", describing men of the Word as "back-woods", etc. Of course, this short video is a demonstration of a proper anniversary dinner interaction between a man and his wife, prOBably shot in James' church. Mr. Pleasant Preacher's wife is a good example of a Christian wife--to quote the man, "what more would she (a good Christian wife) want? What more would she desire?"

Im glad you made this point Tommy my boy. I guess you being member of a church as is that pastor in the clip, you realize you to are a bride, so be prepared to clean toilet bowls and clean your husband's house for eternity. That clip is so ridiculous that pastor should get a toilet bowl swirly for that one.

Clorox is produced by a no-good, homosexualist supporting company. You need to inform your husband to change the brands, so that your purchases don't go to support ungodliness.

I'd venture to guess your internet provider allows homosexuals to work for them, you should disconnect. Also, I'm sure Youtube which you post those clips from...supports homosexuals as well. While, I agree with your point to a certain extent...with this hellbound, disgusting world...it is almost impossible to use products, evangelize, preach the word, etc if you completely forsook every company that allowed homosexuals in their ranks or any other sin. It might be possible but I'm sure you'd have to be extremely careful.

As soon as you prove yourselves to be men of the Word, I'll take back that comment. For now, I'll just stick with "By their fruits ye shall know them." Show us where the Bible says that women should sweat (as I recall, the word sweat (mentioned only three times in the King James Bible) is applied only to men (Genesis 3:19). Man of the Word, eh? More like a false teacher...or, as I said, a teenager getting a kick out of being a troll.

Well, "man of the Word," the answer to that question is in Scripture. All the more reason you'll never discover it.

Naturally, I'm a MAN! :face:

:th_laugh1:
I didn't have a chance to get on Online Baptist when I finally got home last night (stayed late after church to caucus with the ladies about the Thanksgiving weekend menus). I was literally laughing out loud this morning while reading this exchange!

Actually, my wife used to be a good cook, but since she had a brain haemorrhage and nearly died, about 15 years ago she cannot cope too well now.

An older man who attends our church has been dealing with something similar with his wife. She can no longer do a lot of things and he can't cook well so they eat a lot of take out and they go out to eat a lot.

Sorry to hear about your wife. My wife has health issues, nothing nearly as serious as your wifes, but it has greatly affected what she can and can't do. I'm thankful to the Lord we don't have to face these things alone.

Yes, at the time, we had just returned from a baptism in London, on the Lord's day, when my wife collapsed and was taken to hospital, and transferred to a specialist hospital in London. She was in Intensive care for nearly a week. It was a bit traumatic in the waiting room at times as there was the family of a man who was a Catholic with his wife and ex wife who kept arguing. They were trying to get a priest to give him the last rites. A presbeterian miinster visited him and then the priest came in, or should I say staggered in. The exwife said "Look at the state of him, it looks as if they have dragged him out of the pub, at least the other man prayed for him. They have on ly been keeping him on life support till the priest arrives. They want him to donate organs, huh, what organs of his are fit to donate to anybody?"

On the Friday, my daughter's pastor visited her and the nurses said, "Why are you visiting her? you should be comforting the family." The following day, his church had a bible rally and the pastor asked our foster son "How is your mum?" and was astounded when he said she is out of intensive care. She had many people praying for her and has very gradually recovered, but is not up to coping 100%. She does all the washing which is just as well as I haven't a clue how to use the machine.

It's such a difficult thing when such happens to our loved ones. Praise God for His evident intervention!

Yes, and the phone/cable company you pay your internet bill to allows porn to be streamed over their lines. Edited by Wilchbla
