Praise Him, the Mighty God.
Praise Him, the Mighty God.
(A song of Praise: a Prayer of Thanks)

Lord, we are not worthy to house thy Spirit;
We cannot approach unto thy love and grace,
And these tainted lips are not worthy to speak thy name;
But you have seen fit to grant us such joy,
And for this we must thank thee, Oh Lord.

Yeah, we are truly thankful for blessings bestowed;
Such grace is undeserved;
Oh but the love of a Mighty God,
Is freely given in spite of flesh.
And in the privilege of prayer.

Oh Lord, “What is man, that thou art mindful of him?”
“And the son of man, that thou visitest him?”
How can such grace be given,
To such unworthy creatures as men?
“O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!”

Glorify thy Holy Name in me;
Let the light of thy glory shine through me;
Open the windows of heaven
And pour out a blessing
That I may have more reason to praise thee.

Thou visiteth my house with salvation,
And redeemeth my loved ones in grace;
Be thou my strength and everlasting joy,
Be thou my secret place.
And I will yet hope in thee.

For thou Lord art my God,
And in thee will I trust;
Truth has visited me and my house,
And falsehood has fled away.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Thine arm is mighty against my enemies,
And thou hast delivered me from evil;
Thou hast won my heart with love,
And overwhelmed the destroyer before me.
Prosperity is mine because of thee.

Oh that I might rightly praise you Lord,
And not suffer the reproaches of sin;
Let me lean upon thy grace,
And wallow in pools of joy;
For thou art gracious and blessed forevermore.

I will serve thee all my days,
And by thy grace not fall away;
Thou upholdest me with thy right hand,
And set my feet upon the Rock;
For this I greatly praise thee, oh God.

Turn my heart to thee O Lord,
And make me whatever you will;
I am as clay in the hands of the potter,
Mold me and make what you want me to be.
I give myself wholly into thy hands.

Thank you Lord for this unspeakable grace,
But thanks is not enough;
I must show my allegiance by my works,
And will do so again by thy grace.
For this, and more, I praise thee oh God.

Enter now into the sanctuary of my thoughts;
Teach me thy ways, oh God;
As thou hast occupied my heart,
Be strong also in my mind,
And bring in thy peace.

And with unholy lips I will praise thee;
And by thy grace I will serve thee;
Burn thy love deep into my soul,
And grant me rest in thee.
For this, and more, I praise thee.

Let my mouth sing thy praise,
And my heart lift you up;
Let my steps glorify thee,
And my hands in all I do.
Surely thou art gracious and blessed forever, amen.

Let mercy and truth follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever, .and ever” and the
Praise of my lips shall be thine…

And as I enter the sacred portals of Heaven
Let me shout to thy glory and to thy praise;
Allow me, dear Lord, to bring a horde of others with me,
And find the completion of eternal rest and joy.
I will shout thy name from the rooftops,

And diligently seek thy face by thy grace alone.
I will exalt thee to the highest of Heavenly places,
And proclaim thy goodness before men;
My hope is in thee O Lord,
For thou art the Rock of my salvation,

My only true joy and Deliverer.
In thee alone will I trust,
And I shall dwell in the house
Of the Lord forever,
And so shall I ever be with the Lord.
