Members John the Baptist
I have watched Ruckman's chalk drawing on television. He has artist ability. But I do not agree with much of his doctrine. Old Testament saints were saved by faith also, look at Abraham. Galatians says the Lwa was out tuder to lead us to Christ. Members heartstrings
That's true. Many of the TV preachers also use a lot of Scritpure (often twisted and misused), which makes them sound so biblical, so right. It's no wonder those who don't know the Word well are taken in by them. Back in college we lost a couple young Christians to the Charismatics. It all started with them watching the Copelands on TV, and then reading some books by Kenneth Hagin. We tried to help them but they finally went so far as to proclaim that if we were not speaking in tongues, then we were not saved and they shouldn't listen to us. They got this idea from something Kenneth Hagin wrote. That's why it's important that people study the Bible for themselves. If we don't, we're just giving place to the Devil. False doctrines can slip in so easily.

Which is why any preacher should be thrilled if his congregation checked his preaching and teaching by the Word of God rather than being upset and feeling insulted.
