Don't get me wrong, I don't think we should be cloning but I don't see the "what-if" scenarios in cloning. Cloning is just copying existing DNA, correct? I don't think a clone would be an exact replica of another person anymore than a twin is. They can clone DNA but they can't clone life experiences, thoughts and circumstances. Someone with my exact genetic material would still be a different person because they won't live my exact life. They wouldn't grow up already knowing what I know. They would still have to learn Math and English and Science, etc. on their own.

Your right, clones look the same but they are still different. For example cloned animals have different personalities etc. As has been pointed out, identical twins are the same as clones, but I have know two sets of identical twins and I can attest they are most definitely two quite different people regardless of how they look.
