Internet filter for use with Linux/firefox?

What do you mean by "filtering program?" What functionality are you looking for?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. When I used Windows, we had the K9 web protection program to keep the porn, offensive words, gambling, etc...stuff out. Well, so many programs aren't friendly with Linux, so I thought I'd ask if anyone knew of a good program/application that is compatible with Linux.

I have no idea what one would use with Linux. I'm glad I asked the question because I was thinking along the lines of an Internet firewall for your router to keep hackers out, etc.
