Whisperers
(Not good poetry, but good advice)


In the shadows they lurk,
To do the devils’ work,
Talking into the ears of fools;
In the back of the church,
Wicked hearts search,
Whispering out Satan’s “jewels”.

The murmuring done,
They watch the “fun”,
Caused by the words of their mouths;
The contentions begin,
With disastrous end,
Fighting with sword and with ploughs.

The critical heart;
The tearing apart;
The strains on harmony’s hair;
The subtle sin,
The whisperers gin,
Drunken with words of despair.

The destruction is done,
The victory is won,
By Satan, his allies and friends;
The preachers’ tears,
The peoples’ mirrors,
Will bring these trials to end.



So search the depths of your wicked heart,
Before the troubles really start,
And quench them with the Spirit of God;
He will make you what you ought to be,
He’ll cleanse you fully and set you free.
Till the day you lay beneath the sod.

Repent! Confess; forsake your sin,
Open your heart, invite Christ in;
Make Him your savior, Lord and friend;
Abide with Christ, and in His name,
Read His Book, spread His fame;
Let your life in Him amend.
