Hey, those 'Good Old Day's" were very good, anyone who doesn't believe this, just hang around an old timer, he will let you know just how good they were, right? Members CJP56
Right. Anyone want to know about: hand pumps, out houses, baths in a wash tub, everything we ate was made from scratch, wringer washers, wash boilers, ice boxes, 5 people living in a 3 room house, roller skates that clamped on your shoes with a key, ice cream sold by guys pushing a cart that had bells on the handle, produce peddlers, the ice man, insulated milk boxes on the porch, 10 cent candy bars and 10 cent hand dipped ice cream cones, and 10 cent ice cold pop fished out of a cooler full of ice water, helping ourselves to a chunk of ice out of the back of the milk delivery truck after the truck driver let us ride on the truck on our way home from school. That's a few of the things I remember. Now, if I could only remember where I put that thing I was looking for this morning! Hahaha.
