What posts does "View New Content" show? New content since when? It appears to be since the last time the link itself was clicked... Right? ... opps. .no.. that's not right... Past 24 hours?

Seem to me, it shows that last 5 new posts but you can keep going back by clicking the page numbers or arrow.

Whenever someone post something new on a thread, it will bump it up as new content. Just like now, when I post this to reply to you.

I understand that but the "New Content" search has to be based on something... Time, Logon/Logoff (cookie), If post is read or not... etc. "View New Content" appears to be all posts of the last 24 hours and whether visited (read) or not.

I'm not sure how "New Content" and "Active Content" differ...

I think it is based on newest posts/contents. I think it is very handy because I hardly visit the sport section, and yet I still know someone just recently posted there. Without checking the sport section to see if anyone post anything new.

If it make it easier, it is based on timestamp. The latest will be on top.
