My wife and I spent the night Friday in the hospital. We went to have a altrasound at the specialist (she is a high risk pregnancy). While there, she mentioned some pains. They checked her out and sent us to the hospital for observation. She is showing signs of possible preterm labor. Not far along yet, but she is only 29 weeks. He said to get in touch with our regular OB tomorrow and try to get in. He delivers high risk babies, and we are happier with him than the regular OB. We have talked through the day that we are going to see if he will take her on as her regular OB. We were very pleased with the hospital that he works with. Please pray for the baby to stay put for as long as possible. Also pray that we will make the best decision as to who will deliver our Lilly.

I will be praying for you. Just hang in there!! Gotta keep that baby happy in there for at least a few more weeks. I'm due in the next 3 weeks and I DEFINITELY understand the worry that goes along with the last trimester. My hubby and I will be praying for you guys and little Lilly.---btw if we have a girl we plan to name her Lily after my Great-Grandma.

We went to the Doctor today. Not much if any change since the weekend, which is Good. We are almost to 30 weeks, which the doctor says is good. She said that if Lilly were born today she would have about an 80% chance of living. Not 100% but close enough to make us feel better. She said that every day we can put off delivery was wonderful. If we can go 4 weeks, we would be in really good shape. They took a test to see if it looks like we will be going into labor in the next 2 weeks. We should get the results to it by friday.

Try to take it one day at a time. Working to keep that baby in there and your wife calm and rested. We're still praying for you earnestly.

The doctors office called with the results of the test. It came back negative, so hopefully that means we are at least two weeks away. My wife asked if that meant she could come off bed rest, and they told her she would be on bed rest until she delivers. She is a very active lady, loves taking walks with her dogs, and taking care of our home. This is hard on her. She is use to taking such good care of me, it hurts her for me to step up and take care of her. Please continue to pray for her that she can hold up under this.

Thanks for continuing in pray. Things seem to be going good right now. My wife is tired of the bed rest, but glad to do it to take care of our little girl. We visited the specialist on Tuesday. They said things looked better thanks to the bed rest. We went to the OB on Thursday and they were shocked at what the specialist had told us. She also took a glucose test, and it came back in good shape. They now seem to think if she stays on bed rest we will posibly make it to 38 weeks. We are at 32, which means we are in pretty good shape. Lily weighed around 4lb 5 oz on tueday (from measurements on the ultrasound :puzzled: ). She is doing good. I also thank you for the prayers for me. I will admit I am tired. But I am holding up, by the stength of the Lord. I have had a lot of help from family. I have had to work away from home for the last couple of weeks, keeping me from fixing her lunch. My mom and dad stepped in and took care of that for a few days. Then she spent last week at her folks house. But even at that I had to make several trips (they live an hour and a half away from us, but closer to the hospital than we do(on the other side)) to get her for Dr appointments. We are supposed to go to a NST test tomorrow, but we are expecting ice in the state, so I doubt I take her for that. No sense endangering their lives to have a test run!!!

Thanks for the prayers everyone. Things are looking up. My wife is off bed rest!!!! They estamate that Lilly weighs around 6 lb. We are almost 35 weeks, so if she is born now she would be alright more than likely. Just a few more weeks, and we will have our baby girl to care for. I am still trying to finish the nursery. I am not sure if it will be complete in time, but we can get by for a while without it. I was working on it, but had a cabinet door order come in that I need to fill. So the nursery gets slowed down again. I am not complaining though, as lots of people do not have enough work, and God has blessed me with having extra right now.

Please pray today. The Dr visit last Thursday went very well. But after we left the Dr called my wife and said a test she had not gotten the result for when she saw us came back abnormal. I do not know if abnormal is always totaly bad, or just might be bad. She is to take a test tonight at her NST. They have already went from wanting her on bed rest to talking induction. I really do not want her induced, but we are willing if that is the best thing for our precious little girl. Please pray that the test tonight will come back good, and that we can have this blessing come at the time the Lord says. Also pray for us that we will listen to the Lord if it is his will for her to be induced. We do not want to close our ears to only hear what we want to hear. Thanks.
