Last week we were on holiday in France and had the continental breakfast in the first hotel, but in the second we took our coffee maker and cerials and saved quite a bit.

Eggs(1), Bacon(4), French Toast(4), and Coffee (3 Cups)..and my daily vitamins(One-a-day).

Coffee 3 cups.

What do you call French Toast? I always thoght it was toast which was buttered before cooking, but I have recently seen it described as bread soaked in egg and toasted. Then again there is toasted French bread. Then there is biscotte http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://fr.academic.ru/pictures/frwiki/90/Zwieback-1.jpg&imgrefurl=http://fr.academic.ru/dic.nsf/frwiki/217032&h=1908&w=2472&sz=1098&tbnid=p2mfwJZoiuclJM:&tbnh=116&tbnw=150&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dbiscotte&zoom=1&q=biscotte&hl=&usg=__apfGND7ygQFolS5Jkp0DOqVAixU=&sa=X&ei=J0sBTejhMMqmhAf8z4DtBw&ved=0CEsQ9QEwBg Biscotte is slices of bread which have been twice cooked. http://fr.academic.ru/dic.nsf/frwiki/217032 which of course is what biscuit means. Bis = twice Cuit = Cooked
