Members JerryNumbers
How Religious Is Your State? My state of Arkansas came in # 3. NH/Vermont, came in last.
Members trc123
Does being religious mean walking with God?
Administrators Pastor Matt Posted December 28, 2009 Administrators Share Posted December 28, 2009 According the list Connecticut is ranked 42. Interesting how the New England states take 6 out of the last 7 spots. I think this was a survey on if people think they are "religious". Members chev1958
Iowa is #32, right among some of the most liberal states. Most of the rest of the country, I think, views Iowa as a rural, conservative, religious state. Boy, have Iowans got everybody else fooled. Members JerryNumbers
Does being religious mean walking with God? I don't believe so. I think there are many who are religious but have never met Jesus at the Cross. Seems this verse would fit them. 2Ti
Members holster
North Carolina is #8. I went from #8 (NC) to 41 (CO). I can honestly say that I DO see the truth reflected in this "poll." The people here are not "dedicated" at all... nothing like NC.
Members 1Timothy115
Ohio is lukewarm at #25. I would have to agree and trending toward the higher numbers.
Members Seth Doty
Hmm... Texas is at number 11. That seems about right. Not a whole lot of real bible believing Christians around here but there are a lot of mildly "religious" people around.
Members JerryNumbers
My state came in at # 3, but I must say, many that live around my small country town would fall under what Seth said about Texas, "mildly "religious." And most of their religious nature only shows on Sunday morning. What amazes me most is some of the church leaders, the way they behave their self outside of church. Members Psalms18_28
In my city, there is plenty of IFB churches here. So it is pretty strong here. But there are plenty of other type of churches especially Southern baptists.
