Does this apply physically and spiritually? Heb.5 [12] For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. [13] For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

In the past few weeks there's been a lot of discussion amongst many of my friends and acquaintances about church attendance and how often is required. There are several who attend church very often, but not every service, who have been confronted by several other of our friends and their fellow church members because they don't always attend church every time the doors are open. They live Godly, Christian lives, tithe, witness, and have won many souls to the Lord over the years, yet, because they don't live up to someone else's expectations and beliefs on church attendance, are being equated with backslidden Christians, and even have been compared to the unsaved. There ar…

As time go by modern churches, Baptist churches, or others are changing the look of their buildings. We are no longer having the peak roofs, with the cross at its highest point. The new modern look are more efficient and hold more people. Are you ready to receive the modern and new look Church ? Here is one I found online just for example. Berean Baptist Church

Some may say, here is the Glory land complaining again, but I’m not. During earthly holiday seasons, it’s OK, to try to reach out and give candy in a Family Environment Safe Way. Many churches will agree, and many will disagree. Times are changing, and not always for the better, but the Word and the gospel must be shared. Be Safe

Remembering how Church attendance increase during 911.The war in Israel is doing something similar. I believe people are returning back to church that’s good. Hopefully they listen to the preaching of the gospel for salvation, before they cool off again. Today is the day of salvation.?

Being Christian, we are still subject to all the things that are happening around us and this world. We must love those that do good to us, and of those that do bad to us. This is not easy to do. But God gives us the strength through the Holy Spirit to live our lives to the best of our abilities. We must learn how to get along with each other no matter the position of the other person, keep your eyes, and ears open too, if it is true or not. This does not make the other person evil if they are incorrect. Neither gives you permission to spank the other person with your belt. Simply, we just know where that other person stands..

I have never agreed with the Baptist church that removes 10 percent from their employee's salary. I do support the local church and their employees should tithe, if they want to do so. This is just my opinion, you can tell this is being done, for they (employees) never put anything in the offering plate, when it passed by. ?

I was looking in the search and could not find anything related to church security. I know we had a topic on this, but couldn’t find it. I wanted to ask? Are you buffing up security or are you slacking down on security, in your church facility? people often forget things that happened in the past, and start slacking off. Example: COVID, all churches were cleaning and disinfecting the facilities now, maybe. I strongly believe We need to Keep our guard up. Take Care ? free advice. TGL

Hello everyone, The term "Conservative Christian" is frequently employed in religious discussions, yet its definition can significantly vary depending on one's perspective. I am keenly interested in gaining a more nuanced understanding of what this term means, both to individuals within this community and perhaps those outside of it as well. When you encounter the term "Conservative Christian," what precisely comes to mind? Are there specific doctrinal beliefs you associate with this designation? Beyond theological positions, does this term imply particular lifestyle commitments or ethical practices for you? Moreover, how would you delineate a Conservative Chris…

Raised Catholic and then becoming Baptist, I have visited Pentecostal and Caramatic churches. The church with the best biblical and organized for me has been the independent Baptist Church. Many have removed the name fundamental for some reason. That's OK, Their goal, is to reach the loss with the gospel. They strongly support directly their missionaries, they disciple and baptize their members. Community Outreach and their Pastors are not millionaires. They don't focus on Mega facilities. They use the KJ Bible, preferred. The music, are hymnal base, preserving the loyal traditional ways. For me, they are the number one. The Independence Fundamental Baptist Church …

I believe this is a conflict of interest, leaving a window for the pastor, to do what he wishes. Do the Baptist churches have any bylaws forbidden this practice. The wife of the pastor, being the secretary of the or his church? Thanks, TGL ⛪️

Here in NZ the English Baptist Union is the predominant form of Baptist in NZ. They are mostly Pentecostal and are little different to other mainline denominations like Methodists and Anglicans that have gone charismatic. Independent Baptist churches here most people don't know much about. What is your experience of Baptist Union churches?

The more volunteers a church haves the more work can be done, for the Lords Army. Don’t always keep the same main soldiers in the front line. Rotation is good and healthy.

Churches should have fellowship with its members. With all members, the faithful members, and with those that are not so faithful. My experience through the years, I notice as members and groups in our local churches, these groups seem to stay closer together, in the church and out of church. They are friendly to new members, but seems to keep a distance. I’m not saying this is evil. It just seems that it happens everywhere I go In the English or Spanish churches. It’s a type of favoritism like what happens at the workplace. The pastor cannot really do anything about this. Take Care ?

Maybe you've seen this meme floating around Facebook.... here it goes Now before anyone says, "It's not a sin to not wear a suit and tie" (that's cultural) I agree. What I get out of this meme is I think we are starting to dress too casually to church these days.

I believe the only easy way is to vote him out, is to have a meeting (members only). But there must be a majority, of members present. What happens when there is not enough members to vote. There must be a good reason, to vote him out. Given him a chance to tell his story. Let’s just say the pastor had an affair with a member that was married. Example, you would think the pastor would leave on his own. But we all can be surprised, when he doesn’t leave on his own. This is not a negative post, just a class full of students. ?
