Yankee Candle's posting of pictures of the RCC reminded me of something. God loves us. I remember creating something like that many years ago. I didn't have much back then, and I was under attack almost instantly. And I prayed about for it, and God answered that prayer. First, I advertised the site on google ads because I didn't know how to get the message out, because no one would listen, or help, and because of censuring messages. I only had $50 to advertise, and I received it all back. Second, I put it up on an ISP I no longer have an account with for a long time, and it is still up. Its been preserved. Third, it was put in a newspaper for the pope arr…

Hi! This is my first post on this site. I am an ordained Southern Baptist minister. I have pastored for 20years, and during that time I have watched modern evangelicalism erode the mission of the local church to the point, I have no joy in attending church due to the focus of church ministry on the felt needs of man and his delicate psychological make-up. I have preached for 20 years Biblical doctrine and Biblical truths that the New Paradigm Church refuses to embrace. Sadly, I think the church is positioned to embrace the teachings of the man of sin, because it will be palatable to what he has come to understand as God's blessings on the neo-20th-21st century Christi…

Hello all... let's talk. Recently there was a change made to the feed stream of this site. A few of us are having difficulty finding new posts and so (I think) it may be leading to a lack of discussions. Many of us came here for fellowship with other IFB friends, brothers, and sisters. The world has a worldly view... But I'm curious as to what do fellow bible believer's think about the following topics, and whether (or not) you think any/all of the topics relate to scripture, if so, why? Thanks for your input as I feel we should "gather together" as we see the day approaching. Here are just a few things I thought of which I don't see being discussed here curr…

To Isreal in the Kingdom age. 19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. 20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

The mid tribulation rapture The mid tribulation catching up will include the two witnesses Revelation 11:3,7-14 KJV, the 144,000 sealed Jews from Revelation chapter 7 who where redeemed from the earth. Revelation 14:1-4 KJV, and the redeemed dead saints from the first half of the Tribulation. See Revelation 15:1-4 KJV I can't find any passages that indicate that the church age believers will be raptured then. I know some think the last trumpt judgment is the last trump of God spoken of in 1Corinthians 15:52 but I don't because that is when the people I listed are being called up. 2 Timothy 4:1 speaks of two judgments. 1I charge thee therefore before God…

(((Matthew 17:10-13 10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? 11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, (2nd)Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. 12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. 13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist. The 70th week has not started or finished since Elijah (Elias) and the second witness never came in 70AD. Revelation 11:3,7, 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy …

I am not looking for a debate, but was just wondering if others here had any input on this subject. I was just thinking of some aspects of the Millenium period, reminded again that there will be animal sacrifices (which I believe to be memorial reminders of what Christ has already done) - and was trying to recall if there were any mentions of a veil separating the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place (or Holy of Holies), and couldn't think of any. From Hebrews, we know that the veil represented the body of Christ which had to be torn before anyone (other than the High Priest once a year) could enter the Most Holy Place, representing the very presence of God. This liter…

I have heard the verses that God will bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel. With the entrance of our new president, who is alleged 65% muslim and boasts a muslim name, do you think Israel will continue to love us and trust us as a "friend"? If not, do you think God will withdraw His hand of blessing on this country?

Pioneering trials using man-made DNA begin in battle against cancer, ebola, flu and HIV with scientists saying the treatment could be the key to defeating them Pioneering new treatments for flu, ebola and cancer are being developed by scientists using man-made DNA. Experts have worked out how to create strands of artificial DNA, each mimicking a different killer disease, and inject them into patients. The idea is that the patients' immune systems will then be able to recognise the threats and eliminate them. I know that I have heard this in my sunday school lessons but I don't quite remember the significance that "third has in scripture"? In my bible reading today in Rev 8, third is referred to more than once. I also know that the lucifer fell that he took a third of the host of heaven with him.

I see fulfillment of God's word appears as if it is picking up speed. The Muslims and the Anglicans, what next! 2 Thessalonians 2:4 . Who will believe the obvious...not those rioting "protestors" in the streets of the U.S. they already believe blatant lies. So, for those of us who wondered how that would come about...if this isn't the answer then, it may be one of the answers for 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12. We were studying "end times" after prayers this evening. We wondered if Pres. Trump would be the one to broker the deal to give the Temple Mount back to Israel. I voted for Trump but, I long to see my Savior most of all. So what do you think about the possi…

China to follow the antichrist Why? 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. …

"Scripture, telling us about the events that occurred on the eve and on the night the people of Israel left Egypt, points to a significant event in the past and many important events in the future. What prophetic meaning has the commandment of the Lord to anoint with blood on both the doorposts and the crossbar of the doors in the houses? What does it mean to eat the Passover? Why should the loins of people in houses be girded, and why is it impossible to go out the door of your house until morning? What does passing through the sea mean? What future events does Scripture point us through these types? You will find answers to these questions in this chapter." ht…

Granted, there are portions of prophecy that are "symbolic and allegorical"; however, those portions are symbolic and allegorical of things that will actually happen. Some refer to this as "apocalyptic language". There are those who believe that all prophecy was fulfilled in 70 A.D.; therefore, any prophetic references that don't fit into that time frame are symbolic and allegorical only; therefore, they should only be interpreted as "symbolic". However, why does that viewpoint not include what happened in 70 A.D.? Well, we can look back and see what happened in 70 A.D. Obviously, parts of Jesus' prophecy came true then; such as, not one stone from the temple would b…

Theologies problem of Israel and the Gentiles. How can the Church be both the body of Christ and the Bride of Christ at the same time? Israel the first born Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: Christ the first born And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; The Church is the Body of Christ Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. The Church is the Bride of Christ Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. The Church the chaste virgin (bride to be) …for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. So how can the Church be b…

This question is for pastors & preachers. It indeed seems like we are getting close to the end times. Since we have no idea the day nor hour the Lord will return, I'm afraid many in our churches have become lax about this issue. How do you prepare your folks about the end times?

According today's USA TODAY newspaper (December 24), Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has ruled out negotiations to start a cease-fire with Hamas. Instead, Olmert has decided to continue the war against Hamas until they stop their rocket attacks against Israel. Also, Israel is going to build 700 new Israeli settlement homes near Jerusalem. Praise the Lord, Jesus Christ is coming very soon!

I am a Pre-Tribber but have a few questions that question the pre-trib view. In 1 Cor. 15:52 it reads: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Then in Rev. 11:15 it reads: And the seventh angel sounded (7th or Last Trumpet); and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. In 1 Cor. 15:52 Paul speaks of the Last Trumpet being blown, then in Rev. 11:15 there is another Last Trumpet being blown. In Rev. 11:15 the Last Trumpet being blown…

The Church in the Old Testament Psalms 22:27-31 27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. 28 For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations. 29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul. 30A seed(the Apostles) shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation(the church). 31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this. Psalms24:3-6 3 Who shall ascend into the …

Ezekiel 40:42 And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice. Ezekiel 44:11 Yet they shall be ministers [Levitical priests] in my sanctuary, having charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them. Ezekiel 46:24 Then said he unto me, These are the places of them that boil, where the ministers [priests] of the house [temple] sh…
