We have been given a model of Lucifer, the Cherub of the reptile kingdom - no longer represented in Heaven. Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: 4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: 5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: 6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; 7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of …

God’s Global Warming Revelation 16:8–9 KJV 8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. How hot? Malachi 4:1KJV 1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. Why is the earth as hot an oven? Isaiah 30:25–30 KJV 25 And there shall be upon every high moun…

Yesterday, my pastor mentioned that we should pray that America always stays an ally of Israel. However, the Bible clearly states that all nations will rise up against them in the end. So I guess I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this? Why pray for it if we already know what God says will happen?

Here is Corrie’s exhortation to us from a letter she wrote in 1974. The world is deathly ill. It is dying. The Great Physician has already signed the death certificate. Yet there is still a great work for Christians to do. They are to be streams of living water, channels of mercy to those who are still in the world. It is possible for them to do this because they are overcomers. Christians are ambassadors for Christ. They are representatives from Heaven to this dying world. And because of our presence here, things will change. My sister, Betsy, and I were in the Nazi concentration camp at Ravensbruck because we committed the crime of loving Jews. Seven hundred of us from …

When the sun gets seven times stronger Isaiah 30:25-26, God will give Israel a spot of shadow. Isaiah 59:18–60:2 KJV 18 According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. 19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. 20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord. 21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my wo…

Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six. We're all familiar with this prophetic passage of scripture. We've heard alot of theories on it, too. Well, I came across some information one day that got me to start doing some research on RFID chips. This is the technology t…

I'm trying to understand .... Futurist teach a future dispensation when Jesus reigns on earth, over all nations, from David's throne in Jerusalem. Who lives on that millennial earth? Resurrected/raptured Christians? Converted Jews & Gentiles? Wild animals living peacefully? All is wonderful - but are we still having children? Children who are secretly rebellious & evil in heart, just waiting for Satan to appear to lead them? Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. If that is a future millennium, no-one would follow Satan.

"But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection." Revelation 20:5 Men of God, what is the meaning of this verse? Who are the "rest of the dead" and what does it mean here by "the first resurrection"?

It has never occurred to me that God is not King of his creation, nor that our LORD Jesus Christ rose from the dead, ascended to heaven & failed to sit on his eternal throne.

These questions stem from some other threads but I would like to concentrate upon this aspect here. Will there be no Rapture, one Rapture, two Raptures, three Raptures or more? There seems to be several views of this, some I've heard before, some I don't think I have. Along with how many Raptures there will be, please explain when you believe one or more may take place, or why you think there will be none. Also, who will be Raptured when?

I'm kind of new at discussions about end times so, you learned folk cut me some slack . O.K. back to pondering. Noise And Heat; How Will God Destroy The Earth? As interesting as all the conjecture has been that the earth will be destroyed by a man made nuclear catastrophe, there may be other explanations. May I take a step back and view the whole picture. I don't have perfect knowledge and don't claim to. I know this... 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. H…

But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. What's up with this verse? Never understood this one. The apostles did go over the cities of Israel and then some and yet the Son of man never came. I've heard some crazy theories about this passage as well as the ones in Matthew 24 concerning the apostles. They are dead and gone yet Jesus never returned although both chapters suggest that he would in the lifetime of the apostles. One theory I've heard is that the apostles might actually return and preach during the tribulation kind of like Moses and E…

In some recent readings I've come across this several times and I must admit, I know very little about this. Is anyone here a Postmillennialist of any kind (apparently there are more than one kind)? I've read that many or most Christians until more modern times held to some form of this view, is that true? In trying to look up information on this online I've not yet found anything definitive. I'll post some of what one site had to say, but the article is based upon one persons personal study and journey so feel free to point where he is right or wrong and why. I've only read a portion so far, so I might read more before I post some so I will have read it at least …

The Mid Point of the Tribulation Period The 42 months that the Gentiles will have Jerusalem is also the last half of the tribulation period after the Jews flee. Revelation 11:3–7 KJV 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power o…

Okay, we've finished our overview of Ezekiel in Sunday school and I'm wrapping up my personal study in Ezekiel. There were not that many comments upon Ezekiel 38 & 39, but I do appreciate what was put forth there. As I am understanding it, there are basically 4 main interpretations of these chapters. 1. There will one day be a literal temple rebuilt and there will sacrifices offered. Any sacrifices offered pre-mil will be done by Jews who reject Jesus and are still looking for the Messiah. Any sacrifices during a future mil will be in remembrance, similar to how the Lord's Supper is today. 2. This is all just a metaphor of God presence being with us today. 3. …

I have heard it preached as of late that the Holy Spirit will be taken out at the Rapture, if so who convicts men of their sin during the tribulation because the Bible does emphatically that people will be saved during the Tribulation. Any thoughts?

The passage in question is: 23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before. 26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. The general con…

From another thread: What I wrote was: Habakkuk was faced with the imminent destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians. He argued with God, & was assured that God had his plans. All Habakkuk could do was to trust his God - a trust that is repeated several times in the NT - 4Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. Hab. 3 declares the basis for his faith - the remembrance of the past mighty works of God. He refers to events relating to the deliverance of Israel from Egypt, & their conquest of the promised land. His attitude is that of Psalm 42: 5Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disq…

There are a number of hot topics on prophecy & the arguments & assertions go round & round. How should we interpret OT prophecy - should we be guided by the New Testament writers, or is OT prophecy independent of the NT? Is the dispensational or covenant hermeneutic correct, or are they complementary or in opposition? Is prophecy deliberately obscure, or is it possible to to assert the meaning with confidence? Is a single literal interpretation generally possible, or should we look for multiple interpretations with spiritual significance? I submit that there are many aspects of OT prophecy: Prophecies of the Messiah & all his saving work, & his…

The Seventy Weeks of Daniel 9 - When do they Begin and End? CHAPTER 14 1922 By Philip Mauro The Romance of Bible Chronology Some questions of deepest interest arise in connection with the period covered by our last chronological table; but they are question of interpretation of Scripture, rather than questions of chronology. All expositors are agreed (so far as we are aware) that the message brought by Gabriel to Daniel gives the measure of years, from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem, unto the Messiah, the Prince, as sixtynine sevens of years, that is, 483 years. But there is much difference of opinion as to, firsit, which decree…
