    Versus that we can all share the simple plan of salvation. 😇 you don’t have to be a pastor, or an Evangelist to share the gospel. Just born again saved, and if you are baptized, this will be a plus. If you are visiting a church, that people are not getting saved or the gospel not being shown to them, you might need to find a different church. God Bless, the Romans Road is a good way to share the gospel, but not the only way.

    If humans, refused to receive the gift of salvation and preferred to do good work for their salvation, then put them to work. It's not a sin to do good. Meanwhile, you can preach the word of God to them so they might get Saved.

    My wife and I were out today in the mall and this gentleman walked towards us and started talking to us. We asked if he was a Christian. He said no, my wife said, would you like us to pray for you, he said no.     How can you tell if a Christian is Saved (born again)? This easily happens, when a person is not shown the Bible. If the person did not confess, realize that he or she is a sinner, that needs a savior. They might be still lost. Just praying and letting the Holy Spirit do everything might not be enough. Opening the Bible and sharing it, brings assurance to the new believer.

    I do not believe a person can "fall from grace" and lose salvation. However, can a person renounce the decision to follow Christ? I have known a few people who have done so. One experienced salvation, and lived like it for awhile. However, after a number of terrible events in his life, he walked away and renounced his belief in Christ, and now lives as an athiest. Again, I am not talking about losing salvation due to a mere drifting away from faith or falling into sin. I am talking about a conscious decision to renounce Christ and their faith in him. What happens when people do this? Do they lose the salvation that they at one point in their lives accepted? If …

    I was wondering if any of you used Bible tracts in witnessing to others, or to give the Gospel to people you only get to see in passing and can't truly don't have the time to fully present the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you use tracts, which ones do you use, and why do you use that particular tract? I know growing up in the IFB churches in Illinois, many of the churches used a "What Can I Do to Be Saved?" tract. There were several others as well, and there were many decisions for Christ made using those tracts. Thank you in advance.

    We had a missionary come to our church Sunday night and, while he was giving his testimony, he said that he got saved at the age of 3. I myself find this hard to believe and consider it to be an insult to my intelligence. We have 10 children and none of them were ready to be saved at 3, 4, or 5 years of age. My wife said that I should have asked him if he was still in diapers or was he potty trained when he got saved.

    There is an 800 page book by author Dan Corner, it supposedly has all the bible info on how and why you can lose your salvation. He cannot differentiate between Eternal Security and OSAS. OSAS is a license for immorality as he correctly mentions in his book, and at the same time says that Eternal Security and OSAS are one and the same with regards to a license for immorality.     I'm hoping this is in the right place, but I'm new so sorry if it isn't. My husband and I are Christian and trying to find a path to convert denominations to IFB. Specifically I am because my husband doesn't really care one way or the other but I'm hoping to change his heart about it. I don't know where to start. There are Independent Baptist churches near me (we are going to one in a few minutes) but no IFB churches. I feel lost.
