    • If the lord tarries and the way people are blaming Christians for not being more "accepting" then, I would be leaning more towards "concentration camps" or "re-education centers"....I believe the "beginning of sorrows" (or birth pains as some call them) is our present time that is leading up to Israel's tribulation. God can take us out at any time but the closer He tarries the more of the symptoms we will experience that lead up to their re-birth. Matthew 24:6-14 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
    • The lie happens after the rapture. My guess is that the rapture is an alien abduction.
    • Welcome back, Brother Virgil. Good to see your site is still up and going - though it moved urls a bit. I remember you thinking years ago it was going under and all that work you did (and some I helped you with) was going to be lost. Glad it is not - though it does seem some of the material was not moved over to the new site (unless I just missed it).
    • Y'all may be right about an "aliens" explanation. We can't rule anything out at this point.    I believe the beast will be a super-charismatic character who will become almost-universally admired, and when he brokers a deal between Jew & Arab that seemingly ends millenia of hatred & causes both sides to disarm, the beast will be hailed as the greatest statesman ever & his fame will rise to new heights. And all this time, he will be indwelt by Satan. So, whatever his explanation may be for millions of people vanishing, I'm sure almost all the world will swallow it without question. (This, of course, will remove almost all opposition to the "mark of the beast".)
    • The moderators told me to not discuss the KJVO issue any more, here, so I won't. But my main purpose is to expose false doctrines, or at least bring them to fellow Christians' attention. I realize there'll be opposition to the facts,, but shame on me if I don't present them anyway.    For instance, in this thread, I see "pastor" Steve Anderson's stuff being debunked, so I don't need to add much. "Replacement theology" is one such false doctrine he holds.  As for KJVO, I'll be glad to discuss it on "CARM" or "Baptist Board" or "BVDB", three sites I frequently visit.
