Why did people vote for Obama if they did not want significant healthcare reform? It puzzles me. He made no bones about wanting to reform our healthcare system. I'm all for it (but this is not a healthcare debate here). however, people seem incredibly ignorant on this issue. Why did they vote for him to make health care reform (one of his main campaign issues), and now turn against him when he and Congress seek to carry out that promise? Another thing that puzzles me....most folks over 65 on Medicare I visit with are happy with their medical care. Most folks needing nursing home care want to make themselves Medicaid eligible so the government pays for the nu…

WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER GEORGE W. BUSH August 11, 2011 NewsWithViews.com By Chuck Baldwin Last Saturday, Texas Governor Rick Perry unofficially launched his 2012 Presidential candidacy in Houston (in my opinion). Speculation is he will officially announce his intentions this weekend in South Carolina. If he does declare his candidacy, many election-watchers say Perry will become the GOP frontrunner, due to an extremely weak field of declared candidates. If Perry does declare his candidacy, everyone will know that the Houston event was staged for the purpose of launching his Presidential bid, rhetoric to the contrary notwithstanding. If Perry declares his candidacy (…

Below is what I have found. You can do the math. Sorry about the looooong post Globally, crude's reserves-to-production ratio has hovered between 40-55 years. The 1P estimate is an estimate of proven reserves, what is likely to be extracted from a well, 90% probability. Probable reserves are given 50% certainty (2P) and possible reserves a 10% certainty (3P). https://tinyurl.com/yd7cfczq https://tinyurl.com/yd7cfczqv Overall, global supply fell by 720,000 barrels per day in August, .2017 https://tinyurl.com/yctnaj3f our forecast horizon we will be in a 104 mb/d market and the call on OPEC crude and stock change rises from 32.2 mb/d in 2016…

Should have been done a long time ago. Two years ago, an Orange County megachurch took a stand that pitted it against conservative members of its denomination. It ordained three women as pastors. Now, the Southern Baptist Convention has ousted Saddleback Church, its second-largest congregation. The Lake Forest-based evangelical church, founded by popular pastor and author Rick Warren, is one of the largest churches in the United States. It was among five congregations found not to be “in friendly cooperation” with the convention because they “have a female functioning in the office of pastor,” according to a statement from Jared Wellman, chairman of the convention’s …

We never learn from history. We spent 88 Billion and got nothing. It was so predictable. Taliban fighters entered the outskirts of the Afghan capital on Sunday and said they were awaiting a "peaceful transfer" of the city after promising not to take it by force, but panicked residents raced to the leave, with workers fleeing government offices and helicopters landing at the U.S. Embassy. https://www.npr.org/2021/08/15/1027806863/the-taliban-seize-jalalabad-cutting-off-kabul-to-the-east

No I didn't watch the padgent nor the judging. I did see the interview of Miss California on NBC this morning. She was asked if she was in favor of same sex marriage in view of 4 states passing same sex marriage laws, by an openly sodomite judge of the pagent. She answered that she did not favor same sex marriage and believed marriage is between one man and one woman. In accordance with the way she was raised as a Christian. She did not compromise her beliefe in God and the Bible just to win the Miss USA crown. The judge when interviewed said it did most likely cost her the contest as did Donald Trump the pagent organizer. http://foxforum.blogs.foxnews.com/200…

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,459927,00.html Is this fear-mongering or is this just stating the facts or...? Kinda scary. I'll try not to think about it. Especially living here, as I do, in a much more likely place to sustain such an attack than if we lived in a more rural area. *sigh*

Evangelical Lutheran leader suggests Bible not the final authority Well, they're not by their self, the Episcopal Church feels just like them, there be few who believe that the Bible and God be the final authority. I feel we have many who hate authority, and that is one reason this is happening with so many churches and Christians rejecting God's authority.

Actress in Anti-Islam Movie Fears for Life After Threats Its a shame for Islams to react in such a manner. If Christians reacted in such a manner how many times would we have reacted in that manner when God the Father & Jesus Christ our Savior was mocked, made fun of.

More Ohio pastors allow armed church security; Gun ban extremist objects printable page Submitted by cbaus on Wed, 05/01/2013 - 07:00. Guns in the News Gun Grabbers by Chad D. Baus WHIO (CBS Dayton) is reporting that "churches across the country and here in the Miami Valley are responding to violence by putting their trust in God and taking security into their own hands." From the article: At Phillips Temple in Trotwood, armed security guards routinely patrol the church grounds and stand watch inside during services and events. It is a visible presence that Pastor James Washington considers a necessary deterrent from evil. "The Bible calls it lawlessness. It's just a …

Rick Santorum Support for Pro-Abort Christine Todd Whitman , CFR member and former EPA administrator (2001-2003). Governor Whitman has deep associations with radical abortion supporting groups; Republicans for Choice and The Republican Majority for Choice. In fact, Whitman is even an active proponent of partial birth abortions. In January 2008, she was named a co-chair of the globalist new age Aspen Institute's Health Stewardship Project. The former head of the , new age environmentalist Maurice Strong, has membership in the following organizations, but this does not include the entire list: In 1997, Santorum campaigned for the abortion promoting governor of New Jers…
