New York traditional marriage supporters celebrate ""I am hoping New York state comes out of the closet and understands that all Americans deserve the right to marry who they love," Adams said. "This is about love ... we have no right to deny that."" I did not see nothing that said a person could not love whom so ever they chose, it just stated same sexes could not marry. That said, they will not go away, they will keep trying, sooner or late they will get their way, that is if our good Lord does not return 1st.

Huckabee's past may taint his future Back in Mike Huckabee's days as governor of our fair state I thought all of those pardons, prisoners released, was a bad idea and it would lead to trouble for someone. I think he was warned, but he would not listen, and seems like he still feels what he did was right. I feel this pardoning power given to a governor or president is 100 % wrong, there is to much room for it to be about politics. And if someone has this power, them if the ones they pradon does wrong, them they should be held 100 % accountable for the crimes they commit.

Okay, so I've been saying from the start of the President's term of office that every thing they do seems like amateur hour. This latest thing with the "party crashers" and the "surge and be done by June 2011" speech continue to smack of amateur hour. I'd be interested in your thoughts and to see if you have other examples of "amateur hour" type things going back to Jan 2009.....thoughts?

Easter Seals program helps deaf jOB seekers By DEBORAH CIRCELLI Staff writer DAYTONA BEACH -- Finding a jOB in a tough economy is not easy, but imagine the frustration felt by John Wilson, who can't even hear the voices of his prospective employers. The 38-year-old from Daytona Beach, who has been deaf all his life, filled out about 20 applications before getting help from a local Easter Seals program. "You just see their faces and know it's not going to work out," Wilson said through an interpreter. But with help from the Deaf Advocacy Program at Easter Seals Volusia and Flagler Counties, he started working in January at the Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic i…

The study, led by Dr Celia Morgan and Professor Valerie Curran at UCL, surveyed 1,500 UK drug users via the website www.nationaldrugsurvey.org. Drug users were asked to rate twenty psychoactive substances on a 'rational' scale previously developed by Professor David Nutt, Imperial College London, who collaborated on this study. Heroin, crack and cocaine topped the list in terms of harm, but alcohol was rated fifth, solvents seventh and tOBacco ninth. Ecstasy came 13th in the harm rating, LSD 16th and cannabis 18th. Thus, the survey found no relationship between the drug's legal status, based on the current classification system, and users' ratings of harm. In the UK, the …

A man who is allergic to red meat: This cannot be happening again, Hayden Newell thought as the angry, red, ferociously itchy welts encircled his waist and spread up his arms. The 57-year-old metallurgist from tiny Boones Mill, Va., who was attending a business lunch in Florida, knew what would prOBably happen next: His lips would grow numb, making it hard to speak; he would become short of breath; and his blood pressure would plummet: all unmistakable signs of anaphylaxis, a potentially fatal allergic reaction. Newell knew he had to get to an emergency room - fast. The same thing had happened a month earlier, in August 2008.ut a month later, after a dinner that inc…

BEIJING - As President Barack OBama prepares for his first visit to China, leaders of the unapproved churches there are condemning his administration for indifference to the increasing persecution they are facing. The latest example of that persecution came Sunday as followers of an unapproved church in Beijing were again forced by the government to find a new place to worship. Worship in China, governed by the officially atheist Communist Party, is allowed only in state-approved churches, but millions of people belong to unregistered churches that often face official harassment. Court: Army Corps of Engineers liable for Katrina flooding I feel for all of those who lost their homes and or family. But how can a court rule this way. When your living in such a places as that, no human or humans can protect you from the consequences that comes from living in such a place when a big hurricane comes along. Seems they are gearing up for it to happen all over again one day, for hurricanes will be here until this world gets its judgment.

Christian leader fights for public vote on DC gay marriage This is the way it will prOBably be force on all of us, called a civil right, and even if the majority of Americans are against it, we have no right to stand against it, no right to put it on the ballot. If this government can do this, them they can take any rights away from us they want to.

SC panel says governor should face ethics charges I believe this governor got caught up in his affair and made some very bad decisions. Sin always brings trouble and consequences. I believe it would have been better for him to have stepped down in the beginning.

'No' to Jesus, 'yes' to Allah Many conservatives are concerned about Hamilton's appointment because of his rocky history. Hamilton has served as a fundraiser for ACORN, a liberal group plagued with voter fraud charges and other questionable practices. He also once gave the order to stop prayers at the Indiana State House in the name of Jesus, but later stated that praying in the name of Allah was okay. That is just what we don't need. With these people scattered throughout our system, we will soon crumble from within and be a Muslim country. GOP Senator supports leftist judge nominee

Chuck Angier, an agribusiness entrepreneur in Pittsylvania County, decided in 2000 that traditional health insurance wasn't for him. Instead he joined a health care-sharing ministry. As potential health care legislation is shaped, Angier said he continues to worry about his choice and any penalties he might face. And he's not alone. Thousands of people across the country participate in some type of religious-based, health care-sharing ministry where members send their monthly premiums -- or shares -- directly to other members in need rather than to an insurance company. Included in new health care legislation before Congress is a 2.5 percent income tax penalty for a…
