    It's been four years...

    Four years ago today my little sister LeAnne went home to be with the Lord after a valiant, three year battle against breast cancer. During those three years she had so many wonderful opportunities to share the gospel with those around her, and many came to know the Lord. I miss my sister a lot. She was one of the three in my family that I had no problem talking to and spending time with. I know that I will see her again when I also go home. Praise the Lord for salvation, and for his unfailing goodness to us. BT

    New Ministry Beginning

    The c*vid plandemic caused our nursing home ministry to come to a screeching halt. However, just recently we were able to schedule a monthly service at an assisted living center - where one of our members lives. The first service is tomorrow afternoon. It won't be until late afternoon, so that means staying all day...long day, for sure. But we are so thankful we are going to be able to begin ministering in this way once again.

    The title to this post was taken from actual statistics from this site, but this is typical of many topics. Many more people view posts but make no comment. I can only guess why people don't take an active role in topics. I try to remember that for every reply there are many who only view. When I reply to a topic I try to remember that some are here to learn. When we are caustic in our replies, that's what they learn. If we avoid personal conflict and answer kindly, they learn that. This site is the best I have seen and I have been on several. Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

    Dr. dictionary, you seem to be a very smart cookie ? but not everyone here, love chocolate chips. Remember you are looking and studying the Bible, as a liberal. There are many good liberals out there, that are nice people. I believe you are one. You are just trying to hard, to blend in here. It took me as a conservative, 2 years, to blend in here.     Someone once told me that where all weapons, or guns, were removed from the public possession, that dictators would be able to control them even the more. If Americans, are so upset about having gun control, it could be Canada‘s fault, that here in America,they might make new changes. Do you want the government to take control of those that have weapons, like guns, control over sales and the permits. Everyone must follow the laws or rules like those in Canada, which is in the news today.     Over the past few months I've been noticing the phrase"He Gets Us" popping up everywhere. I was saddened when I learned that some of the churches that were in the Southern Baptist cooperative program were using this phrase with pride, stating that it was bringing others to Christ. The sad part is that they, along with some IFB, Bible Church, Nazarene, and Churches of Christ are falling for this garbage. My feelings on this campaign are well known in the church my wife and I attend, and it's not been a popular opinion with the younger people. But, I believe this is just another attempt to humanize Christ and an attempt to tear down his being the only begotten of the Father…

    I Have an Announcement...

    So one day we were in Goodwill just looking around. Because of some news we had gotten just a couple days previously, when I found this book I had to get it for my hubs. Yes, yes...eta for our first grandchild is April 28,2023. ?? Our daughter-in-law was having a pretty easy go of it until this past week. She's had some issues with blood pressure and blood sugar...and even fainted once. She is doing better if she eats often and takes things easy. Would appreciate prayer that God will protect her and Baby DePriest...either Asher or Hannah, depending on boy or girl...or maybe both? ?

    I do not support abortion. But how do I or we answer abortionists for some of their arguments? Some family, very close to me, continue to bring up the 11-year-old child here in Ohio who was raped by the illegal alien. Then, they throw out the usual "What about when the woman's life is at risk?" or "What about when the baby dies in utero, that's an abortion too?"     Great idea for solar panels on your home ?

    People all over are stock with solar panel payments, after the free installation. Get a small credit on the utility bill, but after you have the $125 month solar panel fee. For many years, this doesn’t sound like a great deal to me. My plan, you leased your roof to the utility company, they put their solar panels on your roof. They are owners of the equipment, their installation. They pay me $100 a month, for leasing or using my roof. ?

    Large flat screen TV have gotten much cheaper

    My first flat screen television 40” which was huge then, at the time cost me over $1000 dollars. Now at Walmart, they’re over 60” wide around $500. They have come to be throw away tv, after they break down, you just throw away, and buy a new one. They are so cheap. How wide is your flat screen tv? I don’t believe in televisions… ?
