No sinner ever exceeded their purchase price. "For ye are bought with a price..." Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Hebrews 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, I sometimes wondered how much of that precious blood was shed for my redemption. The conclusion I'm leaning toward is all of it. I'm a poor excuse for merchandise so highly valued. Lord make me a worthy acquisition. Help me to grow in value in 2010.

George W. Bush’s daughter promotes gay ‘marriage’ in New York by Thaddeus Baklinski Wed Feb 02, 2011 18:35 EST (LifeSiteNews.com) - George W. Bush’s daughter Barbara has joined her mother in opposing the former president’s stand against same-sex “marriage” by appearing in a video promoting gay “marriage” in New York. Last May, former first lady Laura Bush had told television talk show host Larry King that she disagreed with her husband regarding the legality of homosexual “marriage.” A screenshot from the HRC ad featuring Barbara Bush.“Do you think we should have it?” King asked. “Well, I think that we ought to definitely look at it,” Mrs. Bush responded. “When…

OHIO'S HEARTBEAT BILL - A NICE PRO-LIFE BILL IF THERE IS NO GOD By Dr. Patrick Jonston May 1, 2011 NewsWithViews.com “You and three others were in a boat in the middle of the ocean. You are healthy and fit, one is morbidly obese and out of shape, one is an elderly woman with cancer, and one is a child with Downs syndrome. You must row at least three days and nights to get to land, and there is no food and barely enough water to sustain no more than three of you. If the four of you split it four ways, all of you will die. Which one should you throw overboard to keep the others alive?” This was my first exposure to relative morality in a classroom at the Florida …

There are some Christians, that don’t want to be called gentiles, why? Acts.13 [42] And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. [46] Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to theGentiles. [47] For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. [48] And when the Gentiles heard this…

This week I?m studying Salvation ? Adoption. While looking over the text of Evan?s book, the words to an old favorite hymn came to mind, information on the song is below. In particular, I was looking toward the end of the section on Adoption, ?III. THE BLESSINGS OF ADOPTION.? One of the verses mentioned by Evans is John 17:23. John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. "Blessed Assurance" is a well-known Christian hymn. The lyrics were written in 1873 by blind hymn writer Fanny J. Crosby to the music written in 1873 by Phoebe P. Knapp. Cr…

Does anyone here collect dolls? I am looking at starting a Raggedy Ann and Andy collection. I have a few things, but I believe I will start my focus on them, and decorate my living room with them.

The Pursuit of God by A. W. Tozer Have you ever read Tozer? If Tozer truley lived what he writes in this book, then he was a modern day David, I don't know, God knows, I know he is inspiring. I've wanted to read this book for more than 30 years. I should have read it long before now. I began reading the book on line but had to have a copy in my hand. I read slowly on line until the copy I ordered arrived. First of all don't look for his Baptist credentials, he has none. In his book, The Pursuit of God, I found a man pouring out his desire to seek God "in spirit and in truth" more so than I ever have. For that matter, I've yet to meet anyone independen…

Selfless Fighter Guerrero Gets His Big Title Shot Robert Guerrero has taken thousands of punches—literally—during his professional boxing career from some of the world’s best fighters. As a fervent believer in Jesus Christ, he’s also endured some pretty fierce life-jabs from the enemy, including his wife’s struggle with cancer and a near career-ending injury in 2011. In both arenas, the fighter nicknamed “The Ghost” has been knocked down more times than he’d like to remember, only to get up before being counted out. All of that—and his faith—he says, has only strengthened and prepared him for the biggest night of his professional life. Saturday night, he’s set…

BARACK OBAMA: THE MAN WHO WOULD BE GOD? By Selwyn Duke September 21, 2010 NewsWithViews.com A long-forgotten interview from 2004 provides insight When writing about Barack OBama’s religious orientation recently, I pointed out that while I do believe he favors Muslim over Western culture, bowing before another — even God — is above his humility grade. I further mentioned that in keeping with this self-centeredness, OBama is (like all leftists) someone who denies moral reality. Ironically, after penning my piece, I became aware of an interview OBama once gave — one quite relevant to the topic at hand. It was conducted in 2004 by Chicago Sun Times religion repor…
