https://www.salk.edu/news-release/the-novel-coronavirus-spike-protein-plays-additional-key-role-in-illness/ After telling us that the "spike protein" of Covid is harmless now they are saying it is harmful. The vaccine is the code that creates this spike in your body. I've also read where two top molecular biologists, a Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi, who said the vaccine will require endless boosters or you will get sick and a Dr. Janci Chunn Lindsay who said the vaccine will cause "immune escape" where our immune system will fail to recognize the virus anymore. Of course, you will be banned if you mention these possibilities. These two doctors are already being labe…

The Book of Haggai Chapter 1 1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying, 2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD's house should be built. 3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste? 5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. 6 Ye have sown much, …

The Book of Revelation Chapter 17 1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones a…

The Truth You cannot be saved by being a 'good person': "For by grace are ye saved through faith...Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8a-9 KJV) And there are not 'many paths? to God, there's only One: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6 KJV) The Bible tells us that everyone is a sinner: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23 KJV) You must realize that there is a punishment for sin: "For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23a KJV) This does not mean only physical death, but also spiritual death: "...fear him which is able …

After reading some of the dialogue on a recent post of Annie's, I'm curious as to where we all stand on the issue of texts or versions. Anyone feel like giving their :2cents? Thanks to Bakers for the list!

Ian, I understand you may become somewhat surprised, disappointed, even have some frustration for this thread. The thread is discussing the need for knowledge of grammar to understand our Bible. Our 1769 KJV AV was for the most part written in Modern English or Early Modern English. Some sentences are straight forward in our Bible. For others we must resort to helps and a careful analysis of structure and word usage. We depend on the Holy Spirit to assist us in understanding but, sometimes personally, I believe He tells me to use the helps He has already permitted man to accumulate. Other times, I believe God just makes us wait for understanding. For example, I have a W…

I get that we are not voting for "Pastor in Chief" but with more viable christian, moral, ethical, politically savvy, etc, candidates. Why are preachers and other Christians backing Trump? At first I could not wrap my mind around it but when you realize the majority of these "pastors and Christians" are "Business Christians" who sell christian products and build big christian buildings and run churches as a business; It makes sense that they would chose a depraved business man over the ethical, moral, christian statesman. I think their justification for this is From the Religious business 101 handbook; 2 Corporations 3:17 Where the spirit of Business practices is, the…

Are there any more of my kind left on this board?? You know that these adults just get too boring sometimes, so I thought I might try to come back to my hood to hang out with the teens. Okay yes I am joking about the adults being boring, but seriously where did all the teens go besides me and nodnarb?? :?

Because it was asked, and it is not appropriate to further pollute that thread. MacArthur promotes: multiple bible (per)versions. Calvinism (and I don't care what name you put on it). Progressive worship. "Elder rule". Universal church. Although I wouldn't recommend going to his site, if you do, all these things are cleatly evident. He does get some things right, but 90% of rat poison is good food - it is the 10% that is dangerous.

It has been said by many that in the story of the widow who put her last two mites in the Temple Treasury was being commended by Jesus after she did so. I am not so sure this was the case. Notice: Mark 12:38-44 And he said unto them in his doctrine, BEWARE OF THE SCRIBES, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: WHICH DEVOUR WIDOWS HOUSES, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation. And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. And there cam…

I enjoy taking photos of nature, whether scenery, insects, plants, animals, etc. I wanted to start a thread where anybody who wants can share a photo they took of something in nature. Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

First off, I find it ridiculous that I am unable to read or post on nearly all the available forums. Are we IB's so conservative that we have to protect ourselves from the view points of outsiders. Now to the main question I have that I must post here as I was not allowed to post in the relative forum. Can a saved believer commit suicide and lose there salvation? Now before I get a sermon on eternal security understand that I have been saved for over 25yrs and a 1611 AVKJB baptist for most of them. I just want biblical references to prove either or as I can find nothing besides the catholic point of view anywhere. I plan to be seeing my maker soon as we have unresolve…

We are living in trouble times and the wacko's are loose. Once the gay movement moves into your home town, thing are going to change my friend, and if you are preaching against them, you will be at risk. Defend your self and the ones you love. You have the right."

Just the quote, interpretation should be left to the hearer...no arguing please. The crucible of adversity is a less severe trial to the Christian than the refining pot of prosperity. Morning by Morning, February 10, H.A. Spurgeon

For all of us nerdy book lovers, what are you currently reading? I'm reading "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" by James Patterson. It's little umm... not Christian. Either my grandma or my aunt gave it to me (neither is a Christian) and I had no idea what it was about until I got so far into it. :ooops

August turned out to be a horrible month for my family and I. In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 10, around 1 a.m., our oldest son tore the screen out of his bedroom window, climbed out on the flat roof, jumped off, got his bike and ran away from home. All of this with no warning and with nothing seeming out of the ordinary. I drove over a hundred miles that Sunday looking for him. The police, volunteer firemen and others were looking as well, along with our pastor sending out an emergency email for prayers and assistance. Our son was found nearly 30 miles away Monday (11th) morning in a Wal-Mart. When we were informed we went to the sherrifs stat…
