I have heard people quote Matthew 26:11, “the poor will be with you always,” many blame and insults me of my situation for years today. An excoworker of mine (from the Gospel Mission, he worked there in 2006) is now believing some pretty wacky stuff about salvation. Hello everyone. I apologize that I haven't been around for awhile, but I am reaching out because I have a question about movies like "Courageous". One of our youth leaders wants to play this movie and I feel that as Christians, we should avoid this type movie. I have been having trouble with one of my CNC machines. At first tech support said it was the controller board. So I purchased (from them) a new board with a USB interface, to replace the old one which used a serial port. Got it up and running, used it to manufacture a large 2-sided sign and completed a freebee project for my Sunday School teacher. So far so good . The new circuit board cost about $1500. About 2 weeks ago, I had another sign about 95% done when the controller stopped sending signal to the motors. I have been going back and forth with tech support evert since. It was interesting this morning in the cardiac testing center waiting area. I was listening to two younger gentlemen talking about the book of Revelation. One said that his pastor and church believed that there were several things still not accomplished yet when it came to prophecy. Just before Christmas, I repainted the Sunday school room. I have slowly started decorating the walls, and want to do a mural on one wall. I want something that all ages can enjoy, so nothing too childish/cartoony as well as not too boring for children to look at. The mural would be on the wall to the right in the picture. Any ideas?

Yes, I have a pastor friend in the Independence, MO area that spoke against this often. I've got an aunt and uncle in O'Fallon, MO who could be on either side of the issue. -
The country seems to be going in a positive direction, sadly in Missouri we allowed amendment three to be passed.

I complete agree brother, we younger people are taught as you said that we are the descendants of primates, we are then taught that as you’ve mentioned about the new view of the Bible, that our religion is wrong and backward, a very sad thing in todays education. I hear it even from teachers and peers who would profess to be Christians.

It's strange how the Bible was held in such high esteem then, but that after this trial, not so very far from where I live today, the Bible is no longer welcomed into the classroom, and we are now considered to be the proginy of monkeys. It's so very sad. -
Hello brothers and sisters, I was recently given the assignment of writing a paper on the infamous Scopes V. Tennessee trial. I found it quite interesting how the defense attorney, Clarence Darrow, had no genuine argument or examination of the evidence itself. He instead called the prosecuting attorney, Mr. William Jennings Bryan, as a sole witness and ridiculed his faith, interpretation of the Bible, and his view of the creation account.
