Do Independent Baptist leaders follow and support MacArthur teachings. I personally don't follow him. I believe he is ok, he sounds like a good talker and storyteller. You feel like you're in school and not a church when he preaches for me. I'll have to visit his sermon page, he sounds very smart and easy to understand. Any input to share about him. Do you listen to him and follow?

The world is changing, people are changing, and so are churches. I know there are many Christians who rather not talk about this. This is happening and many Christians are not happy to hear them doing this, during a service or from the pulpit. myself being a independent voter agreed that this should not be happening. The church is a place of fellowship, worship, and praise to the creator, and growth in the faith. I’m sad to say pretty much all my favorite preachers are falling into this. I know things are not looking good and they are worried but by using the pulpit, I humbly think they’re wrong doing this.

I decided to watch the NABJ interview today with Donald Trump. I was flabbergasted at the disrespect shown him while he was there by one journalist in particular. She made a STATEMENT, a long diatribe before finally getting to her question. She was also very contentious throughout. I believe Trump was justified in his attack back on her. Then the statements by ABC personnel afterwards were not only untruthful, but just as contentious as the one interviewer. Is it any wonder people have no trust in the MSM and have turned them off? They have a wonderful time promoting Kommie Kamala and covering up her poor job as Veep! This makes me want to support Trump even more.

Have you ever heard this phrase? I’m going to Heaven, but I don’t want to go there today. I believe the fear of facing death, face-to-face, is why most people might say this phrase. Those who are born again, Christians have hope and we stand on His promises, that God told us we will be with him. But nobody wants to Go there today. Why do you think people say this?

This morning I saw a report that more fully revealed the circumstances surrounding the resignation of Dr. Robert Morris, pastor of the megachurch known as the Gateway Church. Dr. Morris was 21, and a traveling evangelist. He was a married MAN, a minister of the Word of God, and initiated this "relationship." Mistakes are correctable. Righteousness and humility are two qualities a Christian should pursue. Pride should never be part of their attitude. I watch and listen to the news and shake my head, listening to these conservatives and watching what they’re doing to each other. I know the independent Baptist Church support Republican and those that are conservative, which were very good at one time, but now it's a different story. I don’t believe that Christians should vote for the lesser of two evils. Is this a Christian thing to do? many of these politicians are lying just to get our votes, so why vote? I have attended Independent Baptist churches, and the Southern Baptist churches. When it comes to supporting missionaries, it’s totally different. The Southern Baptist Church makes general collections they collect millions of dollars a year, and the convention decides who to give and help. On the other side the Independed Baptist Church each supports the missionaries or missions that they want to support, each give an small donations as each missionary has to raise funds. Fundraising by visiting the local church. Both are good ways for them are reaching out for missions. Aurora Borealis in the PNW tonight. Stunningly gorgous! The first two are directly overhead our house, taken at 11:45 pm. The third (with a view inside the house) is taken from the back deck at 10:45. The final was taken in the front yard 10:45ish. Did anyone else see the lights? Any pictures?

Yes, I have a pastor friend in the Independence, MO area that spoke against this often. I've got an aunt and uncle in O'Fallon, MO who could be on either side of the issue. -
The country seems to be going in a positive direction, sadly in Missouri we allowed amendment three to be passed.

I complete agree brother, we younger people are taught as you said that we are the descendants of primates, we are then taught that as you’ve mentioned about the new view of the Bible, that our religion is wrong and backward, a very sad thing in todays education. I hear it even from teachers and peers who would profess to be Christians.

It's strange how the Bible was held in such high esteem then, but that after this trial, not so very far from where I live today, the Bible is no longer welcomed into the classroom, and we are now considered to be the proginy of monkeys. It's so very sad. -
Hello brothers and sisters, I was recently given the assignment of writing a paper on the infamous Scopes V. Tennessee trial. I found it quite interesting how the defense attorney, Clarence Darrow, had no genuine argument or examination of the evidence itself. He instead called the prosecuting attorney, Mr. William Jennings Bryan, as a sole witness and ridiculed his faith, interpretation of the Bible, and his view of the creation account.
