My hubby & I are now unequally yoked........ when we married we were both sinners & lost.... my question is this.... for those of you that have lived thru this, what are some ways I can 'witness without saying a word'? God bless, your sister in Christ

Do you think a child can successfully present the gospel on their own? My daughter was at the park yesterday she was playing started talking with another girl, explained the plan of salvation to her, she prayed and Rachel said she got saved. She asked the girl if she was going to how she knew she was going to heaven. The girl said she was good enough, Rachel explained that no one was good enough except Jesus Christ and so explained why, the girl bowed her head and accepted Christ. BTW my daughter is 10

Howdy, I've got a profile up on one of those silly social-network websites, www.facebook.com, and a girl who goes to my college saw my profile and sent me a message...So I need to try to witness to her. For a little bit of background information, her hobbies include poker, gambling, and drinking games, and she currently works as a bartender. (How nice!) :( Anyway, here's the conversation so far...She believes in God now, good start, but no conviction or repentance yet.
Leah: i RANDOMLY came across your profile.. and its just soo good to see someone so into God! I just found out there was a God, about a year ago. LIke i KNOW there is a GOD its so obvious its si…

What would be a good way to put what I wrote up there in the subject line directed toward a person who has a very works-based approach toward salvation and who thinks that it's presumptuous to have assurance of going to heaven?

When I was witnessing on the street yesterday I talked to a man who said he had been done wrong by a person in the church. Has anyone run into this before. What did you say if so?

My friend and I were canvassing and met a couple of men who are from a Christdelphian church. The older man we talked to first did not seem to be completely there and his beliefs seemed to weave in and out (if you know what I mean). He took us to the owner of the house (a son or a friend or other relative). This man said he did not believe in Heaven (something to do with "Thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven"). He said everyone goes to Hell because Hell is just the grave. Has any ever dealt with people with such beleifs? How do you witness effectively to them? What is it do they really believe? I know I was pretty confused after this visit (not with my beli…

Where I live there are some churches who bring in televisions / t.v.'s to watch the super bowl:shock:.God's word is set to the sidelines during this game and I feel this is such an insult and showing so much disrespect to our God. The church I and my family are members of have never ever done this and I would be so ashamed and shocked if it were ever to happen but I can not conceive of it ever happening!!!I certainly pray not

Hello, everyone...... My question is this. I believe as a Baptist married woman I should have certain 'rules' and 'regulations' as to how I should witness/etc. to the general population.....especially when it comes to single/etc/ men...... What has worked for you all???? God bless, your sister in Christ

Talking about soulwinning that we can tell people about Christ at work,Walmart, gas stations or where ever and I agree that is true. But how many people do that on at a regular bases like once a week or once a month.I would say if you're not part of your church's soulwinning team you're probably not doing it at the other places either.I believe if you are not by the word of God and the Holy Spirit bring these people to the point of make a choice for Christ then you are not soulwinning.

Ezekiel 33:8 (Read all of Ezekiel 33) When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. I'v been saved for 24 years, next month 25. I remember about less than 2 years when I first got saved. I was at work, having a bad day, and a co-worked came to me and said, what's this I hear you being a Christian, so I said yea and walked away. 1 week later that man died at home. I can't help some times to think if I was his last chance, for him to come to know Christ. So please don't ever pass up the chance to tell so…

For those who preach, how do you determine what to preach? Is it something that leaps out at you during the week (ie. during your Bible reading or studying time) and you just develop it? Is it an idea (or a passage) that comes to mind, and then as the week goes on it turns into a sermon? For me, mostly it is just some themes/passages that I come across throughout my week, and then consider it - and as the week goes on, it is reinforced, and I find other passages or dig deeper into the same chapter. Last week I had two ideas going through my mind all week - 1) The Valley of Strength (1 Samuel 17 - where David and Goliath fought) - which I shared with my sister by way…

I just finished reading a great pamphlet called" How to Witness to Mormons" by John L. Smith (no relation). I have read many materials on Mormonism from many good sources, but this was the best I've ever read on how exactly to talk to a Mormon. He tells you how they think, which is totally different than how we think, although they use the same terminology we use. This John L. Smith has been witnessing to LDS for 30 years up in Salt Lake City, and knows his stuff. Some highlights I will mention: 1. Don't ever talk to a Mormon missionary or invite him in. 2. You have to use the Book of Mormon with them to show that their doctrines aren't in there! 3. Always start with t…
