I thought i might be helpful for some of the new converts on the board if we post some verses on salvation. Many new converts are very zealous. It will be a great refresher for the more seasoned believer. These can be used when sharing Christ with the unsaved

I am trying to compile a list of scriptures that will be beneficial when dealing with a muslim. I know that it is important to focus on the love of God because they religion is void of it. I had a converted muslim tell me that.

In our church service we have been having a young lady of 13 yrs of age coming for the past 6 months and her parents also have been attending with her and I will say very regular members. This 13 yr. old accepted Christ as our Saviour and she wants to follow with baptism. Her parents will not allow this and the pastor has spoken with the little girls parents together and know they are very upset and will not allow her to come back or at least at this present time they are not allowing her to come back. Our pastor of course does not divulge this information to any one as to (Why?) and we all respect him for that. I truly do not understand (Why?) either. Can anyone give an …

Two weeks ago in a jail ministry, I shared speaking to the inmates with a longtime Lutheran who heads the Gideons Ministry in this area. When I was the last to speak I gave an invitation, to my complete shock and surprise this Lutheran gentleman(he is a deacon or an elder at what ever ) answered the invitation, by stepping forward and saying I want to pray I'm not certain of my salvation. Later at Burger King this man saw me witness to a waitress. And after praying with this waitress I turned to him and asked him do you believe she is saved? He just sat there, later he told me he did believe she was saved but he couldn't bring himself to say so. This past week at pris…

I know this is similar to another thread, but what have any of you used or seen used to teach soulwinning in a Sunday School setting? Our national pastor has gotten the burden and vision to teach soulwinning to the adult class on Sunday mornings. Any recommendations? Thanks and have a great day!

Does God Exist? 1 2

Does God Exist? This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering that I have seen. It's an explanation other people will understand. A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists." "Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children…

Life-Style Evangelism 1 2 3

Over the many years of my ministry, I have tried and taught many methods of evangelism. The most successful method comes straight out of the Bible: LIFE-STYLE EVANGELISM. As we believers are going we are to make disciples...et.a. Both conduct and conversation are employed as opportunities avail themselves. By using this method, we have been able to win 66 people in the last two years (in the Delta of Arkansas) and we have been able to baptize most of them. PTL. Rufus

Do you have a particular method for using a tract or do you just hand out tracts? I learned a method of using tracts by accident that has worked wonders. In Mexico spending time on the oceanfront I was using an interpreter when one day the interpreter got sick and could not work. Now this put me in a real bind since I Only speak about 10 words of Spanish. And as I was wondering what to do I begin to pass out the Spanish Tracks. I decided to step right in front of people and hand them the track, immediately upon seeing that I was an American and hearing me mutter something that didn't sound too Spanish to them, I would point down at the tract that I just handed them …

Favorite Soul Winning Experiences

If this is the wrong forum, I apologize and have no problem with it being moved. I thought we would could all be blessed if we shared those Soul winning experiences that stick out in our memory. Here is mine. This took place on May 28th 2005. I just had to share with you all an experience I had this morning at McDonalds. I was sitting there, enjoying coffee, I'd finished my breakfast and was reading my Bible when a gentleman in a suit and tie approached me, asking if I wouldn't mind sharing my table since all the others were full. I sized him up, saw his book bag and that he had Watchtowers and Awakes in there so I said I'd be glad to share my tab…

Hi Folks, Is there any title that could bring more attention? ha. We do need to consider change, but in the right ways. Over the past few years I've noticed a trend of negativism and peer pressure within the Baptist ranks. If someone doesn't have the right haircut, or the right bible translation, or the right clothing or whatever. We tend to exclude such people or tell them they need to do what's right or they'll be shunned. We have a new and growing ministry called Reformers Unanimous that's drawing people with various types of addictions: cocaine, crack, alcohol, pornography, eating disorders, you name it!! We need to be encouragers of the faith, reaching out to …

THE GOSPEL TRACT Hello! My name is Tract. Gospel Tract, that is, but you may just call me GT. I come in all shapes, sizes, and colors and I get around a lot so I am sure that you have seen me at one time or another. I am, by definition, "a propaganda pamphlet, especially one put out by a religious or political group." At least that

Does anybody have any information about Ray Comfort's book "How To Win Souls & Influence People"? This book will teach you how to "persuade" the most avid skeptic of the reality of the Kingdom of God. You will learn how to discover God's will for your life; how to get victory over depression. You will also read of many fascinating personal experiences, including encounters with big name Hollywood stars. http://www.livingwaters.com/Merchant2/m ... t_Code=117 I have heard that Ray Comfort has become very ecumenical. He appears to be associating with "new evangelicals"--does anyone know?

A ragged old Bible got a face lift, I stopped at Fox Valley Tanning, I picked up some sheep skin, I told the man it was for a Bible cover, he gave it to me. I made the leather the same width as the Bible is tall. I cut it long enough to cover both inside and outside of the cover, I used clear silicone and liberally glued it on. The Bible is now very attractive to sight and touch, there is nothing softer than that sheepskin cover. NOW! It rides in my center console in my service truck, every chance I get I show it off, "See how it feels" I say, that action has opened the door with more people than anything else I have tried. Please pray for the salvation of my …

What do you think about telephone evangelism? Calling people and soulwinning? Like telemarketing? The problem is it would annoy too many people.
