Even though it has been preaching the law recently, my church (for a couple more months, anyway) uses shallow (RR) tracts door-to-door, so I have written a tract with the hopes that God may use it to bring conviction unto repentance and faith in Christ. I'm tired of having to rely on Ray Comfort and his neo-evangelical cronies for good, striking tracts that emphasize the sinners' schoolmaster, the law of God. Please let me know if you have any criticism (no matter how small). Don't hold back. I want to improve this in any way possible, be it the message or the formatting. It's intended to be a trifold, with one sheet front-and-back being cut to make two identical tr…

Hey, I'm going to start using an old blackboard that's about 6'x 8' when I preach out in the park. Once I get it, I'm going to replace the casters with baby buggy wheels so that it's easily movable. Now, I know more or less how the law works as far as public vs private property and amplification vs using just your voice. But my question is this: what would constitute a safety hazard or blocking a right of way with the blackboard? How much space am I allowed to take up on a public sidewalk? More than likely, I'd be doing this in a park where there's plenty of room, but I want to have all of my bases covered.

For those of you who like the Way of the Master and their approach to Evanglism. They are having a seminar called Transformed you might be interested in. If you are in the Southeast the seminar is being held December 2nd in Woodstock Ga just north of Atlanta. Admission is free all you have to do is sign up online in advance. My wife and I and several other from our Church are planning to attend. http://www.wayofthemasterradio.com/transformed_signup.shtml

I'm living in a country where professing Christians (most whom I believe live worldly) are in the minority. Most of the people here have no background knowledge of the Bible or the Christian faith. Worse, I feel that the younger generation are going to be very different from the older one, being exposed to MTV and all them filthy entertainment. It's gonna be harder to witness to them. Any help on where in the Scriptures I should start? Sadly, all my witnessing attempts so far have failed. Either they "want proof that God's Word is true", or were afraid of rejection from their non-believing parents who are staunch worshippers of folk religion. I'm thinking of compo…

I've heard of a type of mission - extremely demanding. This missionary will travel across many states in the nation (if it is a large one), or the whole world, and will stop at every town or so to preach the gospel, picking up local languages along the way. Any comments on that?

I don't know if this is an appropriate topic for this forum, but I found it to be quite informative. It poses some questions to people who are soul searching--and can be used for witnessing to the lost. Am I A True Believer? In this brief study we want to consider the important, soul-searching question: Am I a true believer? To help you answer this question, consider the following questions. Think about each one in an honest, personal way. Take time to look up the Bible verses that are given along with each question. Ask yourself: Who am I really trusting for my eternal salvation? Do I see myself as a guilty, lost sinner who stands condemned before a holy and righte…

Do you think it is wise to categorise those people whom we are witnessing to? Let's say, categorise them by their class, their culture, their religion etc. In this way we can better know what Scriptures to focus on when preaching the gospel of Christ to them.

Have any of you come across Open Air Outreach? They are a group of young guys who preach at campuses in the USA. They don't call themselves Pentecostals but their doctrines are mostly from that camp. They are very strong on hell fire preaching, rebuking sin, repentance and holiness. (Shock and Awe). I have seen some video footage and read their material. Although they do sometimes come across as being harsh I think they are on the right track and totally opposed to the false gospel of "God loves everyone and has a wonderful plan for your life" Unfortunately, here downunder we can't do campus preaching because there are no 'free speech' areas.

Has anyone seen the Way of the Master dvd's by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron? They are great! Watching those has fueled the passion in my church for witnessing. Before, only a handful of us were doing it, but now the church is on fire. Katy-Anne

I have a bunch of kids playing football in the street in front of my house. A lot of times they knock the empty trash cans over and don't pick them up or they are throwing the leaf recycling around and I actually took a picture of one of the kids in my trash because I didn't want to be blamed for it ending up in the crick and not because I wanted to blame the kids for doing it. Some of the kids are in elementary school and every other word or every sentence has expletives in it. How would you share the gospel with these kids and how would you talk to them about their mouth?

A soul winning program can become routine if we're not careful. I am glad that our church goes out. Lots of us go out. Some on Tuesdays, some of Thursdays, lots on Fridays and then again on Saturdays they visit routes. So I was giving the "pep talk" last Friday and challenged everyone to try to witness without quoting Romans. It was good to hear the people when we all got back to the church house to tell how they really struggled and how they really felt that for the first time in a while they were being authentic witnesses for Christ and not parroting a routine. It made us all think on our feet and gave us an opportunity to get out of the way and allow God to wo…

I put this together several years ago and thought I would post it for possible discussion. Yes... I am enjoying this web page. Shortly after becoming a Christian, I was watching a TV news show, about a man who filmed forest fires. He was with a fire fighting crew, getting great footage of a huge wall of fire roaring down a hillside. Suddenly the wind shifted and the wall of fire was now heading towards him. This was Pulitzer Prize material

The Maginot Line: The lush rolling hills situated between France and Germany were the backdrop for some of bloodiest trench warfare of World War One. Hundreds of thousands of Frenchmen spilled their blood to defend those, seemingly, insignificant hills. What would prompt men to leave their homes and families for a trench? What would prompt a man to fight like a mad dog and die if necessary? One reason
