It is every parent’s desire that their son or daughter, future husband, or boyfriend be Christian. But is this our job to do so? I don’t see any problem and trying to help, example. Oh, Robert seems to be from a nice family. What do you think Susie? Did you help your daughter or son find their love mate… ❤️ A positive post by the glory land, for my friends here.?

This is sad, but it may come a day when you will have to put your parents in a nursing home. I know a couple in my church, first, the wife with Alzheimer’s was placed in the nursing home, later the husband health issues. Sad, this Christian couple that live over 50 years together, are separate into different nursing homes. Some might say, is this God’s plan that they end their lives this way? I believe the children should take care of their parents as long as they can, but if this cannot be done because of their health conditions, and they need professional service it’s OK. Those children that take care of their parents to the end, these will be blessed and live a very l…

Is this famous quote taken from the Bible? For centuries, marriage in the English-speaking world has been regarded as a contract that ended only when one partner was no longer alive. The phrase “until death do us part” was first popularized in the English-speaking world following the first printing of the Book of Common Prayer in England in 1549. If it’s not taken from the Bible, why do preachers and pastors all say it? I know that the Bible tells us, we are to love each other, like Christ loved the church.

3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. This verse really hits home, as I often think about my failures as a father. One of my daughters and SIL will be starting deputation soon as they will be heading to Spain in a couple of years. This evening I'm finalizing their prayer cards before I send them out to print.

Your daughter, being raised up in a Christian Christ centered home, meets a Jehovah witness gentleman, and they get married. What is the chance of your daughter changing denominations? We know that each case can be different. What is the percentage that he can become a Christian. Lastly, how would you feel? Would you feel that God let you down in someway?

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. 3 John 1:4" This is my favorite verse. I praise God both my children, as adults are still actively serving Him. Give a shout out if your children are.

Heb.13 [5] Let your conversation be without covetousness; andbe content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

As the world keep dressing down, and as time change, to look more the norm. Do people still dress to impress, I see pastors wearing nice jackets, over a dark T-shirt. Amazing, women’s are wearing pants more than ever before. You have to tell your teenage son, to ask his girlfriend has she ever worn a dress before? This might sound like a joke to some, but it is happening. Sadly. They are good people, but what is going on.

Abortion supporters, what a huge group of nonbelievers marching. I was wondering we’re all these people off from work. I was amazed, to see so many men marching for Pro-Choice. My question, for how long will God bless America, the once God fearing Country. For now, it’s still the best place to live and to raise your family. If your home has an air conditioning, food on the table to eat, praise God. Most of the world don’t have this today.

It makes a difference on how we leave this earth, if you are a believer in the faith, or nonbeliever. We believers, those that are saved, and born again, will be with Him. We have the hope and faith. We stand by His name Jesus, and His promises. He cannot lie, the nonbeliever has no hope or faith. They will not accept the free gift of salvation, which is in Jesus Christ. Being at the funeral, they say many times, they’re in a much better place. This is true, but this is only for those that believe in His name and Word. You and I need to get this right the first time. Don’t delay in His calling. Have a nice day… ?

History repeats itself, over and over. I’m aware of the case of someone going through this right now. She 25 years younger, amazing. We all know the results, later she leaves him for a younger man, the story repeats over and over. TGL, I edited out your last sentence, it was totally inappropriate.

It’s easy to love your brother and sister in Christ, but it is much harder to Love your neighbors. In this busy life that we living in. Are we loving are neighbors, the way we should. I need to work in this area. Love my neighbors, not just the body of Christ.

I was watching a video, the other night, in which a man, his wife, and child were attacked by a bear while on a camping trip. I thought it odd that all the guy could talk about was protecting his child; never once mentioned his wife. Then I'm reminded of my wife telling me when she learned about how her older parents, after the kids had all left home, got along great while alone, but got into conflict whenever the kids came for a visit. I wonder why? Then I've heard many times, spouses saying that "my kids come first". That sounds good, on the surface, but is it? Here is an article, by a psychologist, which sheds some light on this very crucial subject. (I hope it's Ok to…

The first time the word humble is heard. Today when Christians are being humble, many time they are being taking advantage of, how should they respond today. I believe we should all have a open mind, and watch out. If we must used the laws to reply, or sometimes force, this does not make you a non-humble person. Exod.10 [3] And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

Time are changing, and love is on the rocks. Not choosing Christ, the solid rock. I’m not blaming all the young ladies, but many are moving up in this modern time. Some might be saying, I don’t need to be controlled by anyone at this time. Forgetting that the man is the head of the home. I can take care of my own home, which is true. Forgetting being fruitful and multiplying the family. Pray for your children, for we are living in trouble times.

You raise your child in a Christian home and environment. Christian school, and with Christian love. Now they’re over 18 making their own decisions but not the right ones, and not the ones they were taught, what can you do they are adults now. I know that Many will will say all you can do is pray for them or they will come back to the things of the Lord later. The world or evil is pulling them in and their fellow shipping with non-believers which we know is not a good step. My question to you today is, if the rapture took place today, would your love one be left behind for turning back into the World.

Of course, yes, I know there is no perfect community- until Jesus returns. BUT I'm probably a bit of a strange one and JUST CANNOT seem to find a real community (or church for that matter) out there that even remotely fits the mold of what I'm looking to surround my family with at this phase in life. There just seems to be a SEA of information online, but I think what I'm looking for is truly a needle in the stack (if it indeed exists at all). In desperation from search overload, I come before you oh most centralized source of Christian discussion. If such a community exists (or even close to it in my core values), please let me know. In the meantime, my search …

Sad to say this, but it’s happening everywhere, even in the Christian communities and homes, young adults wanting to be or live the gay lifestyle. This is happening in my brothers in Christ family and even of mine, the devil is working full-time, for his time is short. It’s hard to see a love one take this route, but it’s not your fault. All you can say, I love you, God loves you, He made you a woman or He made you a man, that cannot be changed, enjoy the fame for a short time. You can repent and come back before it’s too late. You can come over as much as you like, but not your partner. We will not except gay marriage. Protect yourself from diseases. When you’re down and…

I'd like to get some biblical advice. I have been through divorce, with my wife having left me, and I got her to do the divorce from her end without me in acting it. I'd like to know whether I'd be free to find and marry someone else. From looking at the bible, I'd heard that I'd have to wait till she committed adultery or remarried before I could. Yea so I'm a bit confused about it. Your thoughts?

You will hear this many times while listening to a preacher, someone will say behind every great preacher, there is a great wife. I do believe that this is true, but not all the time and that we say things that sounds correct and nice, but just are not true. There are cases were preachers cannot perform their duty because of their wives slowing them down. We forget that the pastor was called to preach, not the wife. I believe just like in my family and and yours, not everyone is called to do the service. Many fall in love with the man but not the works. No preacher will say this openly because it’s a problem, so pray for your pastor and his wife, that they stay in love. …

I really think although I love God, yet I also hate Him for giving such a strong desire to me yet saying NO to it, every time I plead for an answer in Jesus’ Name. Because this request mean so much to me I now don’t know if I can ask of God anything as for intercession for others stopped about 10 days ago because I feel if I pray for others God will punish them. I think now I even hate God more than I love Him. I once was a Theophilus, but now am quickly becoming a misotheism. Perhaps I happen to be one of the three bad ground the seed/word fell on.
