What is a prayer wheel as in "Just a little talk with J

I have always wondered what the reference to a prayer wheel in the song means. The only time I ever heard about a prayer wheel was in buddahism. That is the only religion that uses one.\ If the reference was alluding to that in Buddahism, would that be enough to stop you from singing the song? If not, Why. It is absolutely unscriptual. Why have it in a Gospel song?

Hi everyone. What is so wrong with Christian Contemporary Music and Christian Rock? I listen to both on a regular basis. I guess I just don't understand why Christian Rock and Christian Contemporary Music is frowned upon at this board.

Hi everyone. I notice that most Fundamentalist Baptists are against rock and Christian rock. I can understand being against secular rock because it is often sinful but I don't understand why they are against Christian rock. Could someone please help me to understand this?

I just got the latest Casting Crowns cd today and the first song is called "What This World Needs." I've listened to just that song several times now because it's got really amazing lyrics. It's what I like about this group, they don't mince words. Here's the song on youtube: ****Moderater edited to remove music clip***** For those who don't like that kind of music, here are the lyrics: What this world needs Is not another one hit wonder with an axe to grind, Another two bit politician peddlin` lies, Another three ring circus society. What this world needs Is not another sign wavin` super saint that's better than you, Another ear pleasin` candy man afraid of …

What song is this chorus from? "I believe there is power in the blood of the lamb. I believe there is healing in the touch of his hand. But the greatest of all miracles was when my Jesus saved me." I would also like to know of any groups who sing it.

Where can I find Christian orchestral music? Kind of like Celtic Woman style? They are a secular band but they have one Christian song that a friend let me listen to. Preferably free, but not required.

I always enjoy hearing these men sing. I grew up with the Tharps, and I love them like my own brothers. I really appreciate their testimony for the Lord!

You guessed it - which are more Biblical: Hymns or Choruses? I believe overall hymns are. There is more doctrinal content to them, they were not written for ecumenical purposes, they were not designed to be endlessly repetitive as many choruses are, the majority of choruses that I have heard are rock music based, many of them are charismatic in doctrinal content - even if many others are not aware of the terminology, and the wording of many of them are based on modern Bible versions. That's some things for starters. By the way, I am not against sound choruses - but I prefer sound hymns. I do not have a problem with those choruses that are doctrinally-sound and ar…

Where are all the down the line bible believing people willing to step us and provide our children with these things. We talk about the greats in years gone by such as Fanny Crosby etc who supplied us with amazing hymns poetry etc. So I ask you do you know of current people writing recording such things???
