Hello everyone! Im not a n00b to forums or the net, but to this particular site, I am! I came here off of a link from Will (yes the Will that BroMatt was referring to for donations) on his site. I hope and pray that this one will be a little different from the "Fighting Fundamental Forums"! Resting In Christ, Brandon

Hello. I am new to this board. I found it while doing a Google search for Baptists message boards. I was saved at the age of about 3 1/2. I am interested in Biblical archaeology and somewhat in secular archaeology. My Grandpa is saved but turned away from God and has become a claiming atheist so I have been exposed to many supposed contradictions and "problem passages" in Scripture. I have discovered or learned the answer to many of these so feel free to ask me sometime. I would like to create a topic on these subjects if they don't already exist. I KNOW there are no errors or contradictions in scripture. I believe I will enjoy the fellowship here. Thansk. <…

I came here after reading on Danny Carlton's blog. I just wanted to see Christians acting like Christians. You see that so seldom these days, even in churches, and since I am now disabled and homebound, I can't even go to church any more. God is currently giving me an appreciation of what Job went through, but thanks to some friends that help me I have formed HelpingTulsa to refurbish computers to then be donated to schools, churches, non-profit agencies, Senior Citizen Centers, Tulsa Housing Authority facilities, and HUD Section 8 facilities. I don't know whether the owners of this forum are interest or whether they would have the capability to do it, but I spent t…

My son, Tony, invited me and so here I am. We are presently working to restore our YT channel which was attacked by the Hinn, Copeland and a Spanish "ministry". There are over 1900 videos and has attracted many enemies as well as many brothers and sisters in the Lord. Praise the Lord for all who come. Sam Gipp has given us permission to record live readings from his book Fight On! which we upload to our second YT channel. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 1John 2:19

Introducing Wm. Pinard My name is William Pinard. My last name is french/latin. In French 'pinar' is a common word for wine; the wine that lays in the barrel just below the spigot. In Latin, a 'pinar' was the lowest denomination coin minted by Rome, a 1/4 penny made of copper. My forefathers immigrated from French Quebec before and then after the civil war to San Jose, CA. So I'm at least a fifth generation Californian. But they all seemed to have drinking prOBlems; or other excuses for failure. Catholic by birth was as close as they got to God as far as I can tell. Hope I'm wrong. I left home in a spiritual sense when I was twelve years old; asked God to come int…

Hello everyone! My name's Ashton, and I'm a 18 year old guy (19 in August) from a small town in Mississippi (Sumrall). Though I claim no denomination, I grew up in Southern Baptist churches up until I was 13, when my family started attending a small IFB. Christ is my life, and I am dedicated to serving Him in some form of ministry, though God has yet to reveal to me what kind of ministry that will specifically be. Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself! :)

Hello, all. I was on here for a while, then life and ministry and ...life ...happened and I drifted away for a while. I forgot my username, then found it by accident on my old computer, and thought I would stop back in and renew old acquaintances.

Hello Christian Ladies and Gentlemen. I am quite happy to have found this discussion board. I wasn't aware of it previously until doing a google search today for a Baptist discussion forum. Thanks be to God for showing this to me, as I can really use the fellowship right now, and some advice and guidance from godly members. I've been saved for two years now, coming from a background in Roman Catholicism, and even to this day, Rome's influence is still in my life in the form of family members who are very committed to, and very much a part of, the unfortunate Whore of Babylon. I owe much of my decision to accept Christ as my Savior to a godly former co-worker at my pre…

My name is Scott Markle, and I have served the Lord my God and Savior in pastoral ministry since 1992. I have served as the pastor of Melvin Baptist Church, a small country church in the Thumb area of Michigan, since 1998. I have been joyfully married to my beloved wife Kerry since 1993; and we have been blessed of the Lord with two sons, Padraic and Westley. My life-verses are Philippians 3:8 and John 15:4-5. "Yea, doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ." "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear…
