Been brought up Jewish, but met some people on the street who were showing me some verses from my Bible from Isaiah and asked me to think about them. NOt sure where the people were from, but found this site on line, and would like to know what else I can look at. Thanks for your help.

My name is Brian and I'm a 21-year-old college student, who is partially deaf but am still seen as deaf or hard-of-hearing and communicates through both oral and manual communication methods, who got saved/born-again today, October 10, 2008, in the truck of my transcriber's husband who I asked to be contacted to lead me through the truths and understandings of Salvation according to the Word of God. I grew up in the Pentecostal-Holiness denomination and have recently began going with my transcribers at school to their church and feel at home there and can't believe I would ever feel that I'm a Baptist, but enjoy every second of it... I do plan on being baptized in the n…

I've heard about you all quite a bit from my husband, and while I am not able to be very active on Forums I wanted the ability to be able to comment occasionally when something is interesting. Here's to a pleasant time ... hopefully. LOL

I chose the name IM4given which means "I am forgiven" - and I am looking for a message board of born again believers who shares my same faith - that is #1 : The The KJV Bible is the preserved Word of God for the English Speaking People (I grow weary of peaople trying to tell me what the scriptures "really mean" because of what it says in some other ungodly translations.) I am a happy housewife, mother of 4 children. I am no longer married, but am under submission to Jesus.

Just wanted to say hi to you all. I am excited to have found a Christian message board to be a part of. I have been saved since I was in Jr. High. I went to a baptist school, and then graduated from Pensacola Christian College (any one else here from PCC?). I now work for a man who is in my church (First Baptis Church, Rosemount, MN) at a wholesale floral supply. Would like to get to know many of you here. Have a great day! Trent.

Hello, About me: I'm a rare breed to be sure. I'm fruit of a soul-winning ministry. I'm an IT programmer. I'm a musician and I arrange the old-time hymns and songs for guitar. I'm an informed citizen. I hate the world's media. I'm raising my family to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in light of John 6:27. My name is Tom. Blessings!

Hi. Hope to learn and fellowship here. I was redeemed by the blood of Christ almost 34 years ago. I believe the KJV 1611 is the inerrant, infallible word of God but I can't say I can explain all the apparent "contridictions". Nice to met you all.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, I have finally decided to join up and begin posting. Some of you may know others with my last name, please do not assume to much from the connection. :-) The Lord has graciously saved me and I want desperately to serve him in any way he allows. I love the word of God and studying, and teaching it is my great privilege. The great struggle is living it! My life verse is Philippians 3:10. I do want to keep growing in my knowledge of my dear Savior. I do want to know his resurrection power. And, in my better moments, I do want to be fellowshipping in his suffering. He is certainly worthy. For His glory, Christian Markle

Good Saturday evening! I am new to this forum, and so very thankful to have found it. It is such a blessing to be able to interact with other like-minded people. I reside in north Texas (where it is nice and toasty just now!). I work as a legal secretary, never married, and enjoy a quiet life with my two naughty little cats. I know I will learn so much from everyone here, and wish to express my appreciation in advance for the many blessings I anticipate receiving and friends I know I will make here!

After "lurking" the various posts for some time I decided it was finally time to join. My wife and I have only been members of an Ind-Fund Bible Believing Baptist Church for about a year and a half where we live in MO at present. Prior to that we attended an Independent Baptist Church back in IL. Anyway, my background up until 5 years ago was varied...Methodist, Independent/Non-denominational, Nazarene, etc. I did at one time buy into the "read the NIV, cuz it's easier. Thankfully, upon finding our present church here in far SW Missouri, I have learned a ton to make me "get into" the KJV and get rid of my NIV. Our pastor is a blessed man and God speaks His word th…

Hi all, Im David Jay Jordan, a so called newbie HERE at least to the FORUM. I call myself a Baptist because I was baptized in a local Baptist Church in Spokane Washington. at 12 years old. Im 70 something now, and still going for the Lord as an independant Baptist, you might say... as our ministry is to all kinds of people. Married, five children, had only one wife, shes a winner and has taught me innumerable things because of her heritage in the 3rd world, and we have experienced soooo much because we were independant and non denominational. No support from any church or family (they were basically atheists) I was quite the athlete growing up and reached …

Okay so God in my eyes is great and he gives us options to choose our own path but I still dislike the fact of his paradise and how you can reach it .... it makes me question his existence ... God is the only one that is perfect ... like if we all live in peace and know we are all equally then that is fine but going to hell just because u rebel against a nation run by Satan or listen to sublime is wrong sounding ... I am not against God ... just because a punk believes in tearing down an establishment that lies to us all and dressing different to express individuality instead of being but on an organized shelf of robots ... God said Satan runs the world and everything wor…

Independent Baptist missionaries and not only living like kings in Eastern Europe I worked from early 2000s for missionaries in my country and I got saved through their work, back then when people did not have much, did not want much. I was raised in a Bible environment but in my country all the born again christians don't believe in assurance of salvation and the standards are low. I never had a high standard myself and I admit I am not perfect but who is it ? I was appreciated for my honesty and hard work and that's why I was hired as translator and many other things to help this man or that man. I write this out of anger and it might hurt people financ…
