Can someone please explain to me, a Baptist Church has a pastor, he has a assistant pastor, deacons, and the committee, chosen members. When this group gathers together to make a decision for the church to present it to the members. Why is it that they, the leaders are making the decisions, before presenting it to the members of the church. Presenting it to the members for the first time and asking for a vote on the issue, when the decision is already made from up Top. it’s like me asking everyone what kind of pizza would they like to eat, everybody put their input, but at the end I said, thank you I already ordered pepperoni pizzas. Why ask for a vote in the first p…

I want to talk about something that's been on my mind lately: pastors hiring staff from other churches. It happens, but is it really fair? A few times, pastors have reached out to me about offering our Youth Pastor a job as a Youth Pastor in their church. While I appreciate them asking me instead of doing it secretly, I still feel like it's not right to recruit from other churches for the same job. Every time it's happened, it's been a big church asking our only staff member to leave and join them. Pastors have told me not to make our Youth Pastor feel guilty for leaving, that they really need them, and that this is normal practice in churches so don't worry about it. …

During my life as a newborn Christian, I learned, and God has gave me discernment on things, what is proper and not proper. It amazes me how there are brothers in Christ who follow man and traditions being saved and born again. they spend their whole life, jumping From Church to church, looking for the perfect church when we all know that the churches are full of repented sinners and the perfect church will be when Christ comes again. Some are know it all, which we all know perfectly. We all don’t know it all. In the church, there are hypocrites back stabbers, members that wanna control positions and know it all, we need to have the discernment, when we see these things. …

Agree or disagree with the following: "Nondenominational" refers to religious organizations or congregations that do not align themselves with any particular established denomination or sect within a religion. However, despite not affiliating with a specific denomination, nondenominational groups can still be considered a denomination themselves, albeit with some nuances. Here's why: Distinct Identity: Nondenominational churches or religious groups often have their own distinct identity, beliefs, practices, and organizational structures. While they may not adhere to the specific doctrines of a particular denomination, they still form a cohesive group…

- In my Messianic Church Home, in Netanya, Israel. The Service is like this.. We do a lot of praise and worship. We dont use backing tracks, we only use live instruments and voices. We do have some Israeli Flags in the sanctuary, , numerous Shofar's, .....2 or 3 Golden Ark of the Covenant's,.... at least one full size Ephod, and a Huge Golden Torah that is rolled out and read..., as well as various versions of the English NT and Hebrew NT that are in the pews, Pulpit, and on the stage, etc. Also, people who can't speak Hebrew but want to go to the "Main" Hebrew morning service, (usually these are Christian Tourists).. wear available wi-fi headphones that…

Is the title click bate? 😀 Hey everyone, I'm curious about something and wanted to get your thoughts. In your part of the world, do you often see non-independent Baptist churches celebrating new members who have recently left the IFB? Here it almost seems like a goal for them, and I find it intriguing. Personally, I've never made a big deal about a non-IB member joining our church, but I'm interested in hearing about different experiences. Is it a common practice or more of a rare occurrence? I'm only asking because over here when that happens some churches just put them on a pedestal and brag that he/she just left a independent Baptist Church.

Alright, what are your church themes for 2024. Last year for us it was "Bring the Book" from Neh 8:1 And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded to Israel. This year for us it will be "I Shall Not Be Moved": from Ps 62-5-8 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

The Non-Denomination Church. The Church that is pleasing to the ears. Here you won’t hear politics, talks about false religion, or even the word hell is mentioned, come as you are. For we are all one, in Christ? Beware of wolves… 🐺🐑🐏 Matt.7 [15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are raveningwolves. Matt.10 [16] Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Luke.10 [3] Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Acts.20 [29] For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolv…

Does this apply physically and spiritually? Heb.5 [12] For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. [13] For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

In the past few weeks there's been a lot of discussion amongst many of my friends and acquaintances about church attendance and how often is required. There are several who attend church very often, but not every service, who have been confronted by several other of our friends and their fellow church members because they don't always attend church every time the doors are open. They live Godly, Christian lives, tithe, witness, and have won many souls to the Lord over the years, yet, because they don't live up to someone else's expectations and beliefs on church attendance, are being equated with backslidden Christians, and even have been compared to the unsaved. There ar…

As time go by modern churches, Baptist churches, or others are changing the look of their buildings. We are no longer having the peak roofs, with the cross at its highest point. The new modern look are more efficient and hold more people. Are you ready to receive the modern and new look Church ? Here is one I found online just for example. Berean Baptist Church

Some may say, here is the Glory land complaining again, but I’m not. During earthly holiday seasons, it’s OK, to try to reach out and give candy in a Family Environment Safe Way. Many churches will agree, and many will disagree. Times are changing, and not always for the better, but the Word and the gospel must be shared. Be Safe

Remembering how Church attendance increase during 911.The war in Israel is doing something similar. I believe people are returning back to church that’s good. Hopefully they listen to the preaching of the gospel for salvation, before they cool off again. Today is the day of salvation.?

Being Christian, we are still subject to all the things that are happening around us and this world. We must love those that do good to us, and of those that do bad to us. This is not easy to do. But God gives us the strength through the Holy Spirit to live our lives to the best of our abilities. We must learn how to get along with each other no matter the position of the other person, keep your eyes, and ears open too, if it is true or not. This does not make the other person evil if they are incorrect. Neither gives you permission to spank the other person with your belt. Simply, we just know where that other person stands..

I have never agreed with the Baptist church that removes 10 percent from their employee's salary. I do support the local church and their employees should tithe, if they want to do so. This is just my opinion, you can tell this is being done, for they (employees) never put anything in the offering plate, when it passed by. ?

I was looking in the search and could not find anything related to church security. I know we had a topic on this, but couldn’t find it. I wanted to ask? Are you buffing up security or are you slacking down on security, in your church facility? people often forget things that happened in the past, and start slacking off. Example: COVID, all churches were cleaning and disinfecting the facilities now, maybe. I strongly believe We need to Keep our guard up. Take Care ? free advice. TGL
