Do the blessings/curses spoken of in this chapter pertain to us today? A lot of passages in the OT, but this chapter in particular. Melissa

I am hoping we can have a discussion of Ezekiel 38 & 39 as to how this relates to us today, in the future and how this should impact our lives (as Christians).

Israel’s Imminent Annihilation God will judge Israel with war and fire. Isaiah 4:4 4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. All the Jews that repent and accept Jesus Will be saved and all the Jews that won’t repent will die, see Isaiah 4:2-4. Isaiah 4:2–4 KJV 2 In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. 3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerus…

The Third Woe Revelation 8:12–13 KJV 12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. 13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! The last three trumpet judgments are so bad they are called woes. Revelation 11:14 The second woe is past and behold the third woe cometh qu…

I was talking to a co-worker a few years back, who was a free mason; and we got on the subject of the mark of the beast, and he said he believes that the mark instead of being physical was more or less metaphoric; in that it is the thought of the mind and deeds of the hands. I thought his idea was interesting but not sound doctrine.

The passage in question is: 23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before. 26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. The general con…

I really have mixed feeling about the Revelation of the end of the world. I mean why would God want to end the world if he loves us all? Sure we make mistakes, bug mistakes but I thought forgiveness is the best thing we got in Christianity. Im confused. Any thoughts to help me out? Brian Fontana

Mat. 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. 28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. 4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if t…

Ezekiel 40:42 And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice. Ezekiel 44:11 Yet they shall be ministers [Levitical priests] in my sanctuary, having charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them. Ezekiel 46:24 Then said he unto me, These are the places of them that boil, where the ministers [priests] of the house [temple] sh…

Rick Schworer's post made me think about this topic. Is the Marriage Supper really a supper - as in eat, chew, swallow, physical food? Or, as we are spiritually the Bride of Christ, is it a spiritual supper? Jesus calls Himself the Bread of Life... might it be a time of fellowship & rejoicing in His presence? What do y'all think?

Mystery Babylon the Mother of Harlots After the appearing of Jesus in the air and the catching up of the church there will be great fear in the formerly Christian nations. All the churches will be full of scared people. This will give great power to the remaining church leaders. Mystery Babylon will be an ecumenical apostate Christian church that has the political power to tell the kings of the western powers what to do. 2 Thessalonians 6-12 tells us that God will cause all the people who have heard the truth of the gospel of Jesus and rejected Jesus to believe the lie of the antichrist. The antichrist will come to power in the 11th horn or colony of Europe that …

“The Day of the Lord” The day of the Lord, as prophesied by the Old Testament prophets, starts at Revelation 6:1 and continues until Revelation 22:1 as revealed by John the apostle. During ‘the day of the Lord,’ God will fulfill all of the unfulfilled prophecies of the Old Testament prophets. Acts 3:19-23, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the w…

DOOMSDAY Jeremiah 25:31–33 KJV 31 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord. 32 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. 33 And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. 2 Peter 3:10 KJV 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the w…

Isaiah 19: 23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:25 Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance. This editing was done by an administrator. and a full correction by me, robycop3. Everybody happy now? I think God will bless Egypt after He finishes punishing them for their idolatry & other sins, because of their cl…

Why do you suppose that people continue such false "prophets" as Hal Lendsey? These individuals continue to make "predictions" which are obviously false. When they fail, these individuals simply change their dates and have the same people fall right back into line. Why?

New research by Bob Cornuke indicates that the Temple was located in "The City of David", which is located just below and south of the "Temple Mount". Major implications for prophecy, as the City of David is in Israeli control. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ikYSKJWdHI

Who is the Lord Jesus addressing? A. The same people he was addressing in Matthew 23, That generation of Jews. Those who filled up the measure of their fathers, by crucifying their messiah. It was because of this that the days of vengeance came upon them. Isaiah 61:2. Luke 21:22. Q. Who is Paul addressing in 1 Thess. 4? A. Believers, ie the church as are all the letters and Revelation.
