Below is the most recent work I've done on the Pre-wrath rapture. I know I have posted alot on the topic, this is somewhat of an orderly collection of what I have observed from scripture and church history up to this point. A Case for Pre-Wrath Rapture We have through careful study of scripture found the bible teaches a pre-wrath rapture instead of pre-trib. This flies in the face of popular theology, but the testimony of scripture and the majority of careful, conservative theology for the last 2000 years of church history, bears witness to this. Here are a few quotes from the early church regarding the church being delivered just before the great tribulation (the …

I'm trying to understand .... Futurist teach a future dispensation when Jesus reigns on earth, over all nations, from David's throne in Jerusalem. Who lives on that millennial earth? Resurrected/raptured Christians? Converted Jews & Gentiles? Wild animals living peacefully? All is wonderful - but are we still having children? Children who are secretly rebellious & evil in heart, just waiting for Satan to appear to lead them? Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. If that is a future millennium, no-one would follow Satan.

"But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection." Revelation 20:5 Men of God, what is the meaning of this verse? Who are the "rest of the dead" and what does it mean here by "the first resurrection"?

The passage in question is: 23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before. 26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. The general con…

I'm coming across more and more people that believe that the 144,000 in Revelation 7 is not a literal number but rather symbolic. Pretty much because John says he "heard" rather than saw 144,000 and how then mentions a multitude that can't be counted. I have more to add, but just want to see what everyone hear thinks first. Is 144,000 a literal or symbolic number?

The Judgment of Babylon Zechariah 2:6-7 America is the daughter of Babylon now because this is where 66% of the Jews outside of Israel are located now that the Russian Jews are going home. America will be political Babylon which is destroyed during the great earthquake in Revelation 16:17-19. Mystery Babylon is the apostate church that remains after the rapture of the born again Christians. The fear of the people will give the church power over the politicians till the antichrist takes over in Revelation chapter 17.

We have been given a model of Lucifer, the Cherub of the reptile kingdom - no longer represented in Heaven. Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: 4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: 5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: 6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; 7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of …

New research by Bob Cornuke indicates that the Temple was located in "The City of David", which is located just below and south of the "Temple Mount". Major implications for prophecy, as the City of David is in Israeli control. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ikYSKJWdHI

As I have stated before...I am a pre-tribber, however, I do have difficulty with many of the pre-trib arguments. This is from personal bible study and listening to apologetics teachers. Here is a sermon that presents good arguments concerning the post-trib view. Now I am not trying to disseminate the post-trib view to anyone on this forum, but I do want to here your interpretations refuting his post-trib position so I can stand firm in my pre-trib position. Thanks in advance! Please listen carefully: Pre-Trib or Post-Trib Love, Madeline

1. Prepare to die. Throughout the Tribulation period, which is what follows the rapture, nearly four billion people will die according to Revelation. What that means to you is, that if are in it right now, do not plan on making it out. 2. Read the King James Bible. Realize you are a hopeless sinner in need of a Savior, Jesus Christ. Believe He died, was buried, and rose again. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and the best way you know how receive Him into your heart. Make the KJB your best friend, there will be plenty of false Christs out there, don’t trust anyone or anything but the KJB. 3. Educate yourself a little on what is coming in the next seven years. In th…

This asteroid won’t miss the earth Revelation 8:8-9 8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. Isaiah 2:12-16 12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: 13 And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, 14 And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills t…

What happened to the teaching the pope is or will be the anti-christ? Those books and booklets I read from the 70s and early 80s dealing with the end times all preached this or something similar. Some had the pope and RCC filling another evil end-time role, but they all had the pope/RCC as prominent players in the end-time evil. I notice very little preaching or writing about this anymore. While I know many non-IFB churches have embraced the RCC to one extent or another, has this infected many IFB churches to the extent they no longer preach the pope is antichrist? I know of a couple IFB churches which yoke with the local RCC for "community service and political …

What are your thoughts on this quote from Dr. Dwight Pentecost? "Now what is our origin, politically, socially, economically, and linguistically? We have come from the nations that originally belonged to the Roman empire. Our customs and laws have all come from that European background, from nations that emerged out of the Roman empire. Daniel speaks of those nations as the ten horns and the ten toes that will be brought together under the power and the authority of the beast. Even though we are not one of the ten by virtue of the fact that we did not emerge directly out of the old Roman empire, we may be one of the ten by virute of our heritage. The United States may…

Here is Corrie’s exhortation to us from a letter she wrote in 1974. The world is deathly ill. It is dying. The Great Physician has already signed the death certificate. Yet there is still a great work for Christians to do. They are to be streams of living water, channels of mercy to those who are still in the world. It is possible for them to do this because they are overcomers. Christians are ambassadors for Christ. They are representatives from Heaven to this dying world. And because of our presence here, things will change. My sister, Betsy, and I were in the Nazi concentration camp at Ravensbruck because we committed the crime of loving Jews. Seven hundred of us from …

The Third Woe Revelation 8:12–13 KJV 12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. 13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! The last three trumpet judgments are so bad they are called woes. Revelation 11:14 The second woe is past and behold the third woe cometh qu…

Rick Schworer's post made me think about this topic. Is the Marriage Supper really a supper - as in eat, chew, swallow, physical food? Or, as we are spiritually the Bride of Christ, is it a spiritual supper? Jesus calls Himself the Bread of Life... might it be a time of fellowship & rejoicing in His presence? What do y'all think?
