And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. Revelation 11:3 Malachi 4:4-5 Mentions Moses and Elijah: Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

This is my first time on here. I’m an Australian IB Pastor’s daughter. There’s smoke everywhere over here, just by the way. My friends house burnt down the other day. One of the churches that we have had an interface with have suddenly come out as Post-Trib. If anyone knows David Cloud, he was out here just recently and did a full series of meetings with them and then found out AFTERWARDS (from my pastor brother) that they’ve been “studying” the subject of prophecy all year, and hey presto! The church is in for the guillotein. I’ve got friends in that church, and now they’re telling me they’re post-trib. It’s a bit lonely here in Australia. Most of our churches are h…

Okay, this is always a fun discussion, though on an Independent Fundamental Baptist Forum it may be that everyone here already gets it, lol. But let's see. To just get it started, the primary objective is to discuss the timing of the Rapture, so my proposal is that according to Prophecy, it is impossible for the Rapture to take place at the end of the Tribulation. Any objections? God bless.

Hi everyone I need some solid proof that it is the Catholic church that is going to be the one world church in revelation. I believe that it is, but people have been challenging me, and one person who is IFB is convinced that it is talking of the Muslims not Catholics. Katy-Anne

@jeff_student_of_Jesus Could you please expound on your following quote bellow from a status update reply from you? I guess I'm asking if the rapture is "made up" from worldly people then please expound on the verses in the Bible that talks about the church meeting Christ in the Air? I'm not concerned about the Word Rapture, but rather the Rapture principle.

When Jesus said "this generation", did He always mean "the whole body of all the people now living"? Clearly, He was in the following verses: From the KJV: Matt. 11: 16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, Matt. 12:42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. In Matt. 23, Jesus is giving a stern, scathing rebuke to the Pharisees & other "holier than thou" Jewish religious officials. …

Camping is truly "off his rocker" because the Word of God clearly teaches us that no one knows the date of Jesus' return. If Camping could figure it out using mathematical equations then he would therefore "know" thus making Jesus wrong. Camping has failed in his predictions many times in the past and it's obvious that he will do so again. Jesus does not want us to pack our bags now, He wants us to keep busy until He comes. God Bless!

In the Bible the first climate change was the flood and the Lord said, he will not do this again, but later mentions that the world will be judged by ? is Climate change true, and where does it apply to us in, the last days. Can man do anything to prevent the climate, and any changes. Is it too late to do anything. Finally should Christian care, and pray about this. I never heard a preacher say we need to pray regarding our climate.

(((Israel became a nation again in 1948. The day of the Lord is very, very near))) Zephaniah 1:-2:3 14The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. 15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, 16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. 17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and the…

Jer 30:7 Alas! for that day [is] great, so that none [is] like it: it [is] even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. Jacob's trouble is often taught as a feature of the yet future tribulation, when Israel will suffer for the purpose of salvation. Is the trouble in the time of Esther the proper fulfilment of that prophecy? Est 3:13 And the letters were sent by posts into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, [even] upon the thirteenth [day] of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and [to take] the spoil of them for a prey. E…

Does anyone here hold a post tribulational view? I'm encountering a few more people that hold to this view now, most of which once held to the pre-trib view.

Evidence for the satanic age and preparation for Antichrist I would like to offer a great deal of evidence that we are living in a post-Christian, satanic age in which the devil is preparing the hearts and minds of millions to receive his man, antichrist. While the designation (satanic age) is my own description the biblical teaching for such a time is based on: "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils." I Timothy 4:1 I am nearly 60 yrs of age and for over four decades I have been carefully OBserving the times we live in compared with the prophecies of the …

What do you believe "the rapture" is going to be? The whole dissappearing thing? Or do you believe it will be something else, or not happen at all?

Luke 21:10-11 10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. Do you think planet X could be the fearful sight?

I believe media is used to condition people into accepting things they normally would think were crazy. For years now New agers have been getting messages from Spirit guides that a mass alien abduction is going to take place soon on planet Earth. Those who believe the bible know that these are demons deceiving the masses. Satan is conditioning people to believe in Alien adduction when the rapture occurs. A friend of mine brought my attention to this http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1810147516/video/21429215/20100816/94/21429215-700-flash-s.112757933-,21429215-1000-wMV-s.112757951-,21429215-100-flash-s.112757929-,21429215-700-wMV-s.112757945-,21429215-300-flash-s.112757931-…

From another thread: What I wrote was: Habakkuk was faced with the imminent destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians. He argued with God, & was assured that God had his plans. All Habakkuk could do was to trust his God - a trust that is repeated several times in the NT - 4Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. Hab. 3 declares the basis for his faith - the remembrance of the past mighty works of God. He refers to events relating to the deliverance of Israel from Egypt, & their conquest of the promised land. His attitude is that of Psalm 42: 5Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disq…

The Mid Point of the Tribulation Period The 42 months that the Gentiles will have Jerusalem is also the last half of the tribulation period after the Jews flee. Revelation 11:3–7 KJV 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power o…

Israel’s Imminent Annihilation God will judge Israel with war and fire. Isaiah 4:4 4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. All the Jews that repent and accept Jesus Will be saved and all the Jews that won’t repent will die, see Isaiah 4:2-4. Isaiah 4:2–4 KJV 2 In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. 3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerus…
