"All Christian denominations unanimously claim that the Lord’s Supper, (breaking of bread, Communion, Eucharist, Mass) is remembrance of Christ’s sufferings, considering Calvary as apogee of His ministry. But, in this case, it turns out that the whole Christian world makes memories of what has not happened yet, proving that they do not understand this commandment. And how can they understand it if it is not for them? It turns out that the suffering of Christ and His Church of the firstborn is yet to come! They did not start! And this means that the commandment “this doe in remembrance of me” refers to the future Millennium. It will be established by the Lord Jesus Ch…

“‘This Generation’ is Spiritual” By John Young “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” ~ Matthew 24:34 Many end times theologies use “this generation” in Matthew 24:34 as a physical generation because it works better that way with their end times theology. They present it as either the physical generation alive when Jesus preached these words or as a future physical generation that will live when the events would start to occur some time in the unknown future. Those who say the events were on those of the past are called Preterist (who believe the events partially or fully finished around 70 A.D.). Those…

“Israel’s 144,000. Signed, Sealed, Delivered and Restored.” Signed: “But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judæa flee to the mountains:” ~ Mark 13:14 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with yo…

[Note: “Israel Gives Birth to Christ in Revelation 12” ~ John Young] “The Nation of Israel as Represented In Revelation 12” By Maurice Young, February 7, 2007 The identity of the “women” in Revelation 12 is of importance to the serious students of the scriptures as it is the object of Satan’s attack and God’s protection. As usual, the correct interpretation of the passage and its context will lead to a correct conclusion. Therefore, the scriptures are the final source of authority as to the identity of the woman in Revelation 12. From Revelation 6:1 to Revelation 18:24 the context is the time of “Jacob’s Trouble”, or the 7-year Tribulation Period. The “ti…

I was reading through Micah 4:1-5 concerning the Millennium, and noticed this phrase: v. 5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

There was another thread about visions and dreams, but it's old, so here are my two cents' here: I do think that visions and dreams still exist, but...... The question is, what importance do we actually place on them. Seeing as God's Word is now complete ('that which is perfect is come', 1 Cor. 13), then we don't need to base our beliefs on dreams and visions or more supposed revelation, seeing as God has already fully revealed the Scriptures. (I have dreams and maybe even visions - sometimes I'm don't know if I'm awake or asleep, but the Bible believer is entitled to say about my dreams and visions: "So, what?") Blessings.

I heard a preacher mention that a teaching of a 10 year tribulation period is making its rounds in KJV Baptist churches now. I just bought s book on the teaching to see how they came up with that one. I do know a few years back a teaching that carnal Christians were going to spend 1,000 years in the Lake of Fire to be purged of their carnality was also making its rounds in Baptist churches, including one I attended for a while, but that seems to have fizzled out The scariest trend is the antisemitism and Replacement Theology that is splitting some Baptist churches. Seems to be fueled by Steven Anderson but I'm not too familiar with all he teaches. Paul had some…

Greetings to all who which to join this discussion. I am guessing that many if not most of the people on this site believe that there will be a 1000 year reign here on earth. This is not a true teaching of the Bible. The kingdom is not something that is future but has already been established. As support of this statement I offer the following support. Daniel 2:44 tells us that a kindom will be set up in the days of these kings. What kings? The Roman kings of course. Matt 16:18-19 Jesus tells us that He will build His church which is the Kingdom Mark 9:1 Jesus tells His disciples that there are some standing there who will not taste death until they see …

I'm coming across more and more people that believe that the 144,000 in Revelation 7 is not a literal number but rather symbolic. Pretty much because John says he "heard" rather than saw 144,000 and how then mentions a multitude that can't be counted. I have more to add, but just want to see what everyone hear thinks first. Is 144,000 a literal or symbolic number?

I am a Pre-Tribber but have a few questions that question the pre-trib view. In 1 Cor. 15:52 it reads: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Then in Rev. 11:15 it reads: And the seventh angel sounded (7th or Last Trumpet); and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. In 1 Cor. 15:52 Paul speaks of the Last Trumpet being blown, then in Rev. 11:15 there is another Last Trumpet being blown. In Rev. 11:15 the Last Trumpet being blown…

Lets discuss Revelation 11, as its surely agreed upon to be the direct WORD OF GOD in all our Bibles. So without further delay let me repost its entirety and high light a few time frames for you to pray about as it may differ with some other verses some might be holding. Lets continue.. Revelation 11 King James Version (KJV) 11 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread unde…

These verses always confuse me. Does anyone have any ideas to what these verses might be talking about? 2: That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4: Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5: Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6: An…

...only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 2Thess.2:7b I took this verse of scripture out of context on purpose in order to examine it, and to get a better understand who this verse is speaking of. The entire chapter seems to be focused mainly on events surrounding the anti-Christ: But this verse seems to be speaking of someone else altogether. "he who now letteth" doesn't seem to be the anti-Christ at all, but someone entirely different, because the next verse says "then shall that wicked be revealed" My conclusion in v.7 is that the one "who now letteth" is perhaps the Spirit of God, but I can't be absolute of that conclusion, I am only…

Below is the most recent work I've done on the Pre-wrath rapture. I know I have posted alot on the topic, this is somewhat of an orderly collection of what I have observed from scripture and church history up to this point. A Case for Pre-Wrath Rapture We have through careful study of scripture found the bible teaches a pre-wrath rapture instead of pre-trib. This flies in the face of popular theology, but the testimony of scripture and the majority of careful, conservative theology for the last 2000 years of church history, bears witness to this. Here are a few quotes from the early church regarding the church being delivered just before the great tribulation (the …

When Jesus said "this generation", did He always mean "the whole body of all the people now living"? Clearly, He was in the following verses: From the KJV: Matt. 11: 16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, Matt. 12:42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. In Matt. 23, Jesus is giving a stern, scathing rebuke to the Pharisees & other "holier than thou" Jewish religious officials. …

When was the last time you heard or preached on a place called Hell? This is not common, for many are afraid to or just don't believe in it. Rev. 20:10. “The Devil That Deceived Them Was Cast Into The Lake Of Fire And Brimstone, Where The Beast And The False Prophet Are, And Shall Be Tormented Day And Night For Ever And Ever.” Matt. 25:41. “Then Shall He Say Also Unto Them On The Left Hand, Depart From Me, Ye Cursed, Into Everlasting Fire, Prepared For The Devil And His Angels.”

I've noticed AFR, along with many others, are following what seems like a growing trend of moving away from the pre-trib rapture position. Aspects of this were discussed in another thread some time back but I'm now hearing on AFR that we should consider the pre-trib rapture position might not be right. They don't actually say when Christians will be called up to Christ but rather simply state that we should consider Christians may be here for at least part of the great tribulation. I've read some who believe this trend is the natural result of so many adopting a Dominionist viewpoint. Having been so busy of late I've not been able to confirm or refute that claim. …

Matthew 24:29-31, After the tribulation 'they shall gather his elect.' Matthew 24:29, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.” “… after the tribulation ...” these events will take place. Matthew 24:30, “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Revelation 1:7, “Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also w…
