Versus that we can all share the simple plan of salvation. š you donāt have to be a pastor, or an Evangelist to share the gospel. Just born again saved, and if you are baptized, this will be a plus. If you are visiting a church, that people are not getting saved or the gospel not being shown to them, you might need to find a different church. God Bless, the Romans Road is a good way to share the gospel, but not the only way.

My wife and I were out today in the mall and this gentleman walked towards us and started talking to us. We asked if he was a Christian. He said no, my wife said, would you like us to pray for you, he said no. So we talked about other things for a few minutes, and then I asked him, can you remember back then maybe visiting a church, and going through a very bad experience? He said yes, and shared with us his experience, which was not very good, so this man spent his whole life fleeing from religion. I told him this wasnāt a coincidence that we talked together today about this. Keep God, in your mind and in your heart, read the Bible, donāt follow religions or man, and he …

If humans, refused to receive the gift of salvation and preferred to do good work for their salvation, then put them to work. It's not a sin to do good. Meanwhile, you can preach the word of God to them so they might get Saved.

How can you tell if a Christian is Saved (born again)? This easily happens, when a person is not shown the Bible. If the person did not confess, realize that he or she is a sinner, that needs a savior. They might be still lost. Just praying and letting the Holy Spirit do everything might not be enough. Opening the Bible and sharing it, brings assurance to the new believer.

(arminianism is also incorrect) Before the foundation of the world God knew that mankind would need redemption from their wickedness and decided that He would choose all who who are in Christ by faith to be holy and without blame, adopted as sons and forgiven of sins. See Ephesians 1:4-7 Note: He did not choose which individuals would be in Christ.

Dear Iconclast: Many here have requested that you give a salvation testimony. Since you apparently either haven't seen these requests, or just have refused to give a salvation testimony as the Bible says one should....i thought I'd bring it to your attention. 1 Peter 3:15 āBut sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:ā King James Version (KJV) I'm posting this here so that it will be clear what we're asking. We truly hope that you know the Lord as your personal saviour. We look forward to hearing of your salvation experience. …

"To many of us the form of that second sentence comes as a surprise. Jesus did not say that he who believes and is saved shall be baptized. No, he put it the other way round. He who believes and is baptized, he said, shall be saved. It is only at our peril that we change something that the Lord has said into something that he did not say. Everything he says matters, and he means every word of it. But if this is so, then it must be a fact that only by having faith in him and being baptized are we saved. Some will be puzzled at this. What do you mean? they will protest. But do not puzzle; and do not blame me! I did not say that; my Lord said it. He it was who laid down…

God's Word is Truth, as Revealed by the Father, as Written . (not as explained or not, by some human type calvan or arminian or other '-ism') "Ephesians 1:4 King James Version 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:"

Do any of you use Bible tracts when you are witnessing? If so, which ones? Why? 1 2 3

I was wondering if any of you used Bible tracts in witnessing to others, or to give the Gospel to people you only get to see in passing and can't truly don't have the time to fully present the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you use tracts, which ones do you use, and why do you use that particular tract? I know growing up in the IFB churches in Illinois, many of the churches used a "What Can I Do to Be Saved?" tract. There were several others as well, and there were many decisions for Christ made using those tracts. Thank you in advance.

Hello Family of God, There will always be a debate as to whether a Genuine Believer can stop believing, or if someone who DOES NOT believe IN THEIR HEART can come to believe at some point in their life. The Bible makes it VERY CLEAR that there is Genuine Belief that can never fall away from TRUE FAITH, and a false belief or unbelief that stems from a hardened heart that will NEVER be persuaded of the Gospel Message and Salvation by Grace through TRUE FAITH. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; …

I'm new to the Baptist doctrine, so please excuse my ignorant inquiries. I would like to know about salvation. Do Christians who adhere to the teachings of other Christian denominations (sub-denominations / groups / Churches etc.) have a chance at salvation, or do only Baptists get saved?

Hello Family of God, "What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" (Psalm 8:4) Quite a tiny world called Earth in a cosmos of near endless celestial bodies; and yet the Omnipresent Creator presents to the inhabitants of this infinitesimal world an Unfathomable Love which surpasses all comprehension of finite man. God is too often accused of being mean-spirited by unbelievers, and this is because they do NOT know Him who takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ezek. 18:32; 33:11; Rom. 5:8; 1 Cor. 13:6). However, it would be an injustice on God's part if He were to allow unrepentant sinners entrance into His Eterna…

Hello Family of God . . . or NOT, "Then said one unto him, [LORD], are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, [Strive] (Grk. "agonizesthe" [present imperative] -- i.e., "to struggle intensely; a continuous effort to strenuously contend as the athletes did through exertion") to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able." (Luke 13:23-24) Brackets and ALL CAPS are used for [EMPHASIS]. Please excuse my grammatical inaccuracies and errors in punctuation; as I am a fallen creature who is capable of making mistakes here on Earth. Though some of my words may seem harsh, it is never my intention to verbal…

I'm hoping this is in the right place, but I'm new so sorry if it isn't. My husband and I are Christian and trying to find a path to convert denominations to IFB. Specifically I am because my husband doesn't really care one way or the other but I'm hoping to change his heart about it. I don't know where to start. There are Independent Baptist churches near me (we are going to one in a few minutes) but no IFB churches. I feel lost.

Repentance is a direct change of mind, brought on by the awareness of sin in your life and the fact that your sin has violated the laws of God. This changing of mind, is produced by an inward sorrow, remorse and regret over sins committed, which results in a redirected, or changed life. This list of questions has been in the flyleaf of my Bible for some time, and is very effective when dealing with carnal and baby Christians that have not yet grasped the finality of their salvation. They seem convinced that they haven't believed hard enough, or that there must be something left for them to do in order to feel for certain that they are saved. These questions are designed to replace the word "feel" with the word "know." "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Rom 5:1 KJV). EIGHTEEN QUESTIONS ON ASSURANCE 1. Did Jesus die for me personally? 2. Did the Saviour fail in His effort to save me?…

Refuting a reasonable Arminianās arguments against Calvinism. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UO92L11L9jc&fbclid=IwAR395IpOFNsdTEjW8ryzXhu4hjBfYOZI1KmuYTcCz-OL-XIiuX1RAvw1quk Brother Mike, I believe you have several things wrong in your presentation, though you have a lot that is good. You gave us the wrong grammar in Ephesians 2:8 and you have wrongly stated that Calvinists view faith as a work - it is a gift, not a work. Here is the question that "free will" religionists cannot answer BIBLICALLY. They have lots of opinions, but not Scripture that tells us "WHY do some people have faith and others do not?" The Bible DO…

Why do so many Christians doubt their Salvation if God's promises are never to be broken? It concerns me a great deal that there are many genuine Christians who are indeed saved but feel as if they're not at times. Verily, verily, I say unto you. He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath [present tense] everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed [perfect tense] from death unto life. (John 5:24) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know [perfect tense] that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:13) The "p…

If there ever is a doctrine that takes away the full assurance of hope and being with Christ, our Savior upon physical death . . . then it has got to be the false doctrine of soul sleep. One of my pet peeves are those who teach and promote false doctrines and heresies -- even on the web. I often email them and challenge them to a debate. I came across a website that promotes the false doctrine of "soul sleep" http://wordonly.net/CI06.html and was stunned at just how the author twisted scripture out of context with eisegesis and poor understanding of simple vocabulary that even a child can grasp. There is no "soul sleep". Immediately upon death, the spirit goes eithe…

- According to Jesus Christ's testimony as a credible expert witness in all matters pertaining to the afterlife; most of the world's responsible souls haven't been making it to safety when they cross over to the other side. ā Luke 13:22-24 . . And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. ā Matt 7:13-14 . . Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, a…

- ā Acts 1:1-3 . .The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: to whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. That's fine that Jesus showed himself alive to the apostles by many convincing proofs; but where's our proofs? How are his followers today supposed to be convinced Jesus is alive? ā 1Cor 9:1 . . Have I not seen Jesus Christ our …
