    Anniversary Trip

    So this is the third year in a row that we've been able to take a trip for our anniversary. First year we took an extended trip around the Olympic Peninsula (an 8 hour drive stretched over 4 days). Last year we were able to go to CA to see the Redwoods. The drive down the Pacific Coast Highway was beautiful. This year, we are going to north central WA, to Okanogan County. There is a church there that is hosting a fellowship meeting for the independent Baptist churches of WA. We thought we'd go and then head to one of the ghost towns in that area. Then back this way to spend the night in a town we stayed in on our move out here. Then on to church at a friend's chur…

    Because, I believe this is a baptist forum. I am a baptist, many good things and bad things happens. I can post the good things only, but that would not be fare. We already have many good news only, posters. I don't get many likes here, but this is okay. I cannot even get a like to a prayer request here. God knows, this is true. I am not blind, and I do have attackers here, some are in control Admin, and will love me to just leave. I have thought about it. I will try to post some more positive posts. ?

    Who is my neighbors? Do I have to love them all the same, or just love those that treats me well. There are many angry people out there. Many believers and nonbelievers the same. Christians that don’t practice this are hurtful to the ministry. These should not be placed to serve in the church. If they cannot serve outside the church. Two different Worlds

    I don't know if this is the best place for this, if it please ove it. The eldest of my granddaughters is planning to transition. It is realily destroying my daughter. I said to her daughter that her mum was so upset that she could hardly speak as he was having difficulty holding back her tears. I said that what makes you think that Frankenstein doctors can make a better job than your creator. I also gave her several bible texts. The sad part is that when she was a teenager she went to camp and said she had become a Christian and was baptised and joined her local Baptist church. We held a Youth Rally yesterday with Pastor John Barnes preaching and I bought these bubble balls for the teens to play with. What a crazy game as the teens love it. Anyone ever play with these? Make sure the parents sign waivers before they play. lol

    Wearing more clothing to protect your body from the heat and sun

    If you visit any country in the world, people wear clothing to protect themselves from the sun rays and the heat, here in America this does not apply, the more sun and heat, the less clothing people wear. Could this be a reason the skin cancer rate is very high also dehydration people not coping with the extreme temperatures. People walking around, almost naked it’s just not working. I think it’s a little too late to start learning from other cultures, the way they protect themselves from the extreme weather. It’s a little too weird to walk around with an umbrella on a sunny day, not cool. ?

    I just retired, and I had great news. I can continue with my health plan through cobra for only $867 a month. This means, I have to go work full-time again, to pay my health plan.

    I just learned today that the word Shekinah (that supposedly means glory - though often they say it like Shekinah glory) that I have heard tons of writers and preachers used throughout the years is not from the Bible at all, but from the Jewish Talmud, the unbelieving Rabbinical commentary on the OT Scriptures (and commentary on their commentary - not joking). The two main words in the Bible for glory are: for the OT is kabowd, and for the NT is doxa. There are a couple of other words, but shekinah is NOT in the Bible at all It is not like using a non-Biblical word to describe an actual Biblical doctrine, like Trinity, rapture, incarnation - but actually is usin…

    I remember, listening to preaching where during the second coming, the rapture of the Saints. Christians are removed from this earth, the nonbelievers, saying that it was the UFOs. The balloon activities we are seeing now, are having people think, and search for UFOs again. The lost preparation, for the removal of the Saints.

    Title says it all. Name the best and worst thing. I'll start: Connecticut Best: The weather. We get all 4 seasons with an awesome fall. Summers are in the 80-90's and winters are not that bad or long. We also get all the natural disasters on a small scale. Earth quakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and blizzards. Worst: Taxes and cost of living. $$$$

    I woke up on Sep 7th after having chills the night before. So, today I count as day 9. I'll be glad to get back to my local church, hopefully soon. I've had all the symptoms, bad headache, bones/joints ached, weariness, loss of smell/taste. It has not been the most pleasant experience.

    Robbing or stealing in the house of God. People and some Christians have no fear. I’m not talking about robbing God with our tithes and offering. I’m talking about stealing money and property. No fear whatsoever, we all sinned and fall short, and do things that we shouldn’t, but we fear afterwords. These are religious leaders, who having no fear of taking what is not theirs, from the house of God treasures. All that I can say, is that you have guts, and cannot go down any lower.

    You join or start a discussion topic that you are interested in. Boy oh boy, this will be fun and I’m going to learn a lot. There are several people in the discussion and their input is helpful. There are some disagreements, but the answers have bible verses to back them up. Huh, I never thought of that. So far so good. You can navigate this.
