I currently enabled a new feature when posting....gifs. While I have this set to the safest rating level allowed there is a chance there is something that may sneak through. I have no control over what type of gifs get are listed, I can only choose a rating level. If this becomes a problem I will just remove the feature to keep everything safe. If you don't know what a gif is.......

(Rev 22:18 [KJV]) For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: (Rev 22:19 [KJV]) And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book. What do you think is included in the taking away and adding?

Suspect in abortion provider death talks from jail Thu Jun 4, 8:46 pm ET WICHITA, Kan. ? The man accused of killing Kansas abortion provider George Tiller said Thursday from the county jail where he is being held that he's "being treated as a criminal" even though he hasn't been convicted. In a brief telephone conversation with The Associated Press, Scott Roeder also disputed what he called "broad brush" characterizations of him as being anti-government. "I want people to stop and think: It is not anti-government, it is anti-corrupt government," Roeder, who called from the Sedgwick County Jail in response to a written request for an interview. The 51-year-old Ka…

Another victory for the Midshipmen. Navy retains the Commander in Chief's Cup. It was a cold windy game but a lot of fun. Philly has a really nice stadium and sports complex.

I posted this earlier on my fb page and wanted to share with everyone here. Enjoy! Wow!!!! What an exciting and powerful way to end a week! We attended the 2016 Prayer Conference at the Marietta Bible Center Church, in Marietta, Ohio. This is our "back home" church that we were members of before moving to the Columbus area in 1997. Overall, it was amazing!! To be able to see the Lord move and work in hearts in beyond words. I know of at least 4 people that were saved this past week. I believe that there may have been one more but I am not sure. Two of the people that were saved, were led to the Lord in a local laundry mat, and I don't believe that they missed one…

Kim Davis vs. Judicial TyrannyBy Patrick J. BuchananFriday - September 11, 2015 "If the law supposes that, the law is a ass — a idiot." Charles Dickens gave that line to Mr. Bumble in "Oliver Twist." And it sums up the judgment of Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis about the Supreme Court's Obergefell decision, which said the 14th Amendment guarantees same-sex couples the right to marry. Davis refused to provide marriage licenses to gay couples lined up at her clerk's office and was sent to jail for five days by a federal judge for contempt of court. Good for her. We need more like her. For behind her defiance are more authoritative sources than the five justices who gave…

Man Knocked Out, Stripped Naked And Robbed Of Everything As Crowd Of Onlookers Laugh Hysterically source: http://endoftheamericandream.com/ How would you feel if a group of young thugs punched you in the face, knocked you to the ground, stripped you naked and took off with your car keys, your watch, your money and your cell phone? Well, that is exactly what happened to one man in Baltimore recently and it was all caught on camera. Perhaps the most frightening thing about this incident is that nobody from the crowd of onlookers helped this man. Instead, most of them appear to have been too busy laughing hysterically at what was happening to him. Sadly, this kind of b…

Just about done with the "Laramie" series. If you like the old westerns, I would recommend this one. Season 4 (the last season) is of poorer quality than the others, ut all the rest are good, family entertainment. There is, however lots of fighting and shooting, but no unwholesome materiel in them. Also finished seasons 1-3 of "The Virginian", and that was good too. Makes good watching on those rainy days.

My family just returned home from a week long trip in Gatlinburg Tennessee to celebrate my Parents 50th Wedding anniversary. My 3 brothers and their families was able to be there so it was nice having the family back together for a week. The cabin that my brother rented was the Amazing Grace cabin that overlooks downtown Gatlinburg. Here is a picture of the cabin (sleeps 25). Everything was beautiful, but way too many bears for my liking. I'll stick with the city, I'm used to people coming up on the porch when I'm reading my Bible, not have bears chase me back into the house, like this little bear did.

So, sometimes, when we think we have a particular aspect of life well in hand, the Loes allows someone to remind us that it may not necessarily be so. There is, in our church, two young couples, one, the husband was saved about 4 months back, (wife was saved), the other, just a couple weeks ago and baptized last Sunday. I pick these kids up for service as they don't have a vehicle yet. They have a neighbor, a fellow my wife and I have known for many years, and dealt with many times-he is a Jehovah's (false) Witness, he and his family. Well, he is a piece of work-dishonest, will lie when he can't use his doctrine to get out of being wrong in debate, is a cheat in business…

Just bought the first season of "Cheyenne" from Walmart for $30.00. That was a good old western that ran in the late 60's I believe; It starred Clint Walker as Cheyenne Bodie. Good viewing. Waiting for the Virginian 7th season to go on sale. Amazon has it for 40.00 or so, but I am hoping it goes down. My memory is so bad that I can watch them several times before I remember all of them! I have the first 6 seasons of the Virginian, and they are all good.

SHOULD CHRISTIANS HOLD PRAYER VIGILS WITH APOSTATES? By Marsha West December 19, 2012 NewsWithViews.com During the 2012 election, the New Religious Right (NRR) held prayer vigils all throughout the United States. Their rallying cry: “If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” -2 Chronicles 7:14 There is nothing wrong with Christians gathering together to pray for a common cause. There is nothing wrong with asking God to return our country to biblical principles for the simple reason that those of u…

When I went to rent a copy of True Grit (the new one) I stumbled across a movie at the video store called KJB:The Book that Changed the World. I highly recommend this movie. Very well done and beautifully filmed on location in Scotland and England. The movie deals in a large part with King James himself and what led to the translating of the KJB. I think any preconceived images you have of King James the man will be shattered by this movie. On the most part the Special Extras are pretty good. Mostly historians and thelogians talking about the KJV. I wouldn't call this a Christian movie yet it does maginify the KJB. Check it out.

All throughout the news you hear things about people being homophobic and so forth. Of course the term homophobic seems to have changed definitions from the meaning "having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against gay people" to disagreeing with the gay lifestyle. Anyway, this topic is not about that, but the term Christophobic. Would that mean someone who is against Christians mean they are Christophobic? It seems that now every group is protected except Christians. I heard the term Christophobic the other day and it got me thinking. Anyone else hear this term before?

Started reading the book One Heartbeat Away, Your Journey into Eternity. Its kind of slow going in that its taking me a long time to read. KInd of weird coming from someone that used to read books like some everyday habit. This book by Mark Cahill is so far well written and as far as I can tell right on. Great reading . I have another by him called The One Thing You can't do in Heaven. I have yet to read that one, but intend to after this one.

My wife and I have withdrawn from the AARP because of their stand on queers. We don't get the so-called "perks" now. but can easily live without them We also quit shopping at J.C. Penny's, which was started by a Christian I hear, because of the same reason. I sent a message to them asking to be taken off their mailing list, and withdraw our charge card (we only have one major card). They threatened to turn in my name to the credit bureau, or whatever it's called thinking that would hurt me, but I don't give a hoot about their credit rating scale; never looked at mine, and never cared to. The Lord has been very, very good to us. Praise the Lord for His wondro…

SWAT team's shooting of Marine causes outrage By AMANDA LEE MYERS | AP – 3 hrs ago TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Jose Guerena Ortiz was sleeping after an exhausting 12-hour night shift at a copper mine. His wife, Vanessa, had begun breakfast. Their 4-year-old son, Joel, asked to watch cartoons. An ordinary morning was unfolding in the middle-class Tucson neighborhood — until an armored vehicle pulled into the family's driveway and men wearing heavy body armor and helmets climbed out, weapons ready. They were a sheriff's department SWAT team who had come to execute a search warrant. But Vanessa Guerena insisted she had no idea, when she heard a "boom" and saw a dark-suited ma…
