For the last few years, the Berean Call has made various ebooks and tracts/pamphlets by Dave Hunt and others at the Berean Call available for free download. I do not endorse everything about Dave Hunt, but he is one of the best out there for exposing doctrinal and practical corruption in modern Christendom. There are two official sites that I am aware of that are offering some of their material for free downloads: Shop | The Berean Call This one you will need to create an account (name, address, does not ask for any payment info because these materials are free) and add the free ebooks you are interested in to your basket (if given the choice, choose pdf as devices a…

What if healing comes from a witch Doctor? Should they be given a try? I live in pain for year and the more I try, the worse it becomes. After all I have been through. I have decided to try. Tomorrow, he will cut certain part of my body and apply his substance. Today he covered my empty body with this blanket and light up a substance. Since I started this today. I have a divided spirit but I have no other option.

Life is sorrow. Life is painful, life is suffering, fear, and trauma. Life is uncertainty, with discomfort. I have learned in my 8 yesrs of struggling that a needy is always wrong. Sometimes just have to admit to a crime that wasn't committed just to havr food and shelter, no to b3 rejected or to avoid torture. What scares much i that the more i try to desperately to overcome pains, suffering, and find safety seemed to make the situation worse. It is happiness that I was looking for. It was safety i was looking for, because I wasn’t happy, because I wasn’t safe. By going after it, the discomfort, the sadness, the pains, the suffering only grew. At moment, tha…

I have been having trouble with one of my CNC machines. At first tech support said it was the controller board. So I purchased (from them) a new board with a USB interface, to replace the old one which used a serial port. Got it up and running, used it to manufacture a large 2-sided sign and completed a freebee project for my Sunday School teacher. So far so good . The new circuit board cost about $1500. About 2 weeks ago, I had another sign about 95% done when the controller stopped sending signal to the motors. I have been going back and forth with tech support evert since. Anyway, I had posted a photo yesterday, on Facebook, mostly using FB as an easier way to transfer…

If you shop for books online you do not have to rely on one site for your purchases like Amazon, Barnes and Noble, ABE, Alibris, or e-bay. The sites listed below have multiple sellers including those listed above. It will be possible to compare prices more easily. You can shop for new or used, by author, by title, by condition, by publication year, or by ISBN. Try to find an "advanced search" button on the site which will allow to plug in more specific details. * bookfinder.com * addall.com * allbookstoress.com * campusbooks.com * gettextbooks.com * vialibri.com

It was interesting this morning in the cardiac testing center waiting area. I was listening to two younger gentlemen talking about the book of Revelation. One said that his pastor and church believed that there were several things still not accomplished yet when it came to prophecy. He was telling the second gentleman that he didn't necessarily agree with his pastor, explaining that the disciples believed that Jesus would come back in their lifetime, so why should we NOT expect the imminent return as well. The second gentleman said that his pastor didn't believe in a rapture, nor did he believe in a millennial reign of Christ. They noticed that I was listening and asked i…

Two of my grandchildren got saved this week. They could not wait to Facetime with Grammy and Grampy to tell us all about it. All five of my children are raising their kids in church just like we raised them. I am so undeserving!

Just before Christmas, I repainted the Sunday school room. I have slowly started decorating the walls, and want to do a mural on one wall. I want something that all ages can enjoy, so nothing too childish/cartoony as well as not too boring for children to look at. The mural would be on the wall to the right in the picture. Any ideas?

I am prepared to take this risk because my heart is so heavy with what I have experienced in Cameroon for 8 years. I do not want to carry the burden of war for the rest of my life. For years now, my life is a testament to the indomitable human spirit, my hope shines brightest in the darkest of times, my life journey remind me that even amidst adversity, there is a path to happiness, love, and a fresh start. My life is a story of unwavering determination and boundless hope. I don’t mine if I should fly, run, walk, even crawl in order to leave Cameroon . The danger through the desert, the Mediterranean sea and imprisonment in Europe is better than freedo…

This past Sunday morning, taking the garbage out to the refuse bin way down our driveway, I somehow ended up face down in the gravel. My wife saw what happened and came out to help me get up from my spill. After getting back to the house we began to assess the injuries that I had sustained. I was bleeding from both knees, and the lower half of each leg was beginning to bruise. I knew I had a concussion by the extreme headache and blood coming from my sinuses. I had a small gash on my forehead, and my nose was bleeding on the outside left. It was also clear that my right thumb was broken. My whole forehead was beginning to turn black and blue, and both eyes as well. There …

Hello, I'm interested in advancing my music theory knowledge in the domain of Christian music. Specifically, high level chords and techniques. In searching for resources that might help me in this endeavor, I've mostly found materials that teach sacred music techniques and theory but with subtle influences from jazz, r&b, and other secular genres. If I wanted to move forward in learning Christian music theory and techniques without encountering secular genres or Christian Contemporary but via traditional gospel/Christian resources, would someone be able to point me in the right direction?

If we are all brothers and sisters in Christ, independent Baptist church, and members. In my years, visiting English and Spanish churches, I noticed a lack of communication between other pastors and churches, the pastors don’t fellowship much with other pastors of the same faith. Some type of competition going on, I do see where some teachers and members jump from one church to the other, some come back, and some do not. I do know that one church missions might be different from the other church missions. But the main mission for all these independent Baptist churches is to reach the lost for Christ. Does your Pastor fellowship with other pastors of the same faith, or is…

In talking with several people that I am in contact with through physical therapy, grocery shopping, my wife's place of employment, etc, I have been asked many times why Christians are so hateful when they are talking to people. I asked for examples, and some of them were shocking, many of them being from Baptist pastors, deacons, and laypeople. I'm going to list several of the conversations, abbreviated.... 1) A young man my wife works with went to a Baptist church to visit with the possibility of becoming a member with his wife and three children. They visited an I(big "I" little you) FB church. It's a pretty well-known church in the Nashville area. They went to Su…
