Over the past few months, I have been listening closely to the lyrics of many Country and Western music artists when they are singing about God, Christ, and Christianity. It distresses me that so many within our churches these days listen to and blindly follow some of the doctrines within the songs sung by these singers. Their lifestyles betray them when it comes to their Christian values. While it is true that many do many good things, and they talk a lot about God, and some even give great testimonies of salvation, they do these things with glaring issues that are inconsistent with Biblical Christianity and Salvation. Many promote the ideology of baptism as their salvat…

UNHOLY MOTHER OF INTOLERANCE: THE INQUISITION Issue Date: January/February 1984 (/battle-cry/article-listing?issue=1 -1984) by Avro Manhattan If Hitler should return and proclaim deep love for the Jews; or Stalin appear and declare himself a Capitalist, would we not take them with a largish pinch of salt? Well, then! Why should we react differently to a similar "phoney" conversion of an institution which has surpassed the evil of both these dictators? Today the Catholic church claims heartfelt love for all those outside her. This is as incongruous as the claims of a repentant Hitler or Stalin. Indeed it would be laughably ridiculous if we were not dealing w…

First, right off the bat, I don’t follow or listen to any person, that is a multi millionaire, flying around giving concerts, and selling books. I cannot understand why a mature Christian, cannot see this? Grown in a Christian home, and very well educated. Many have eyes, but cannot see, and many have ears, but cannot hear. Sad

I wouldn't call all in the aforementioned title a cult.. but from what I've encountered it's some of the most aggressive Christian's I know. Not only are they saying that someone has been prechosen for eternal life , but this person WILL do good works, will speak in tongues, WILL cast out demons etc.. So if you aren't charismatic or continuously doing good works.. they will say never saved. Its loading all sorts of other things onto receiving eternal life as requirements to 'prove' you got it.

I got a invite through the mail. I didn’t know that they were having Easter Services, remembering Jesus. The Jehovah witness. They are opening up more to the son of God, now. He’s not just a teacher anymore. Maybe I’ll take BT with me to visit them. Smile : )

I notice that the islamic churches are reaching out to the community and growing here in Florida. They are handling out boxes of food, and more to help. This is a smart move on their part. How can we get them to accept us, the American. Convert one at a time…

This is a demon in disguise and I am afraid it is sneaking into my marriage. Please join me in praying for conviction as my husband is being enticed by this anonymous group. Does anyone else know about this brainwashing “society”?

Yet what choice do people have ? Can they "get in the pool" when the water is stirred by an angel and be the first one in and be healed ? Can they find a true healer and recover their health ? Can they find anyone who will tell them the truth ? The world (society) is death dealing, full of wickednesses and illnesses and diseases and dementias disorders brokenness beyond anyone's imagination - if maybe one percent of all this bad and wrong was comprehended by a man, it would sorely vex him daily. (may drive him bad, er mad, as has happened to millions) There is no (real) healing offered by the world (carnal, sinful, apart from Christ…

The disciples were all familiar with Torah, and the faithful heard Torah read every Shabbat. What was the problem Jesus identified then, and warned so seriously about ? Did Jesus warn them about buddhism, islam, babylon, sihkism, or any such -isms at the time ? About any of the other religions on earth ? I don't remember Him doing so. But concerning the religion of His Own Family, His Own people, of His Present Disciples, Jesus gave the warning : beware of the leaven of the religious teachers. It may still be the most important warning today ?

In a conversation with a preacher this week, a group of men in our area was told of a new denomination that has been started by the former talk show host/actress/weight-loss guru, Oprah Winfrey. We were told it's called, "The Experience." There are several campus' throughout Middle Tennessee, and it is said that Oprah is backing preachers like Joel Osteen, in cooperation with people like Beth Moore, Rick Warren, and several other high profile preachers/motivational speakers. This is disconcerting to me, since the "doctrine" preached by Oprah is anything but sound, Biblically, and Joel Osteen's lack of a firm grasp on the preaching of the whole counsel of God, is infiltrat…

@SureWord posted recently: "What happens if your pastor is doctrinally messed up? If my friend friend didn't "go outside his church" he'd still be in a Holiness church." "It seems that people who leave IFB end up eventually leaving church altogether. My brother, who was a big influence on me getting saved, left his IFB church for SBC then went to a non-denominational now is out of church completely." "my friend who I met in a GARB church in my old state started an IFB church the only one in a 40 mile radius." ============================================== end quotes ================================== This is a sure word, confirmed repeatedly i…

No one, not one person, was proven by any laboratory to have died of or from a virus. Thousands of people, by some accounts online, died FROM THE vax. Oh, Pastors did succumb. To fema, and not to any imaginary virus, but to a virus theory. People did die, (FEWER people died in 2020, btw), as always. But not from a virus - rather because they were not told the truth. Even 'Christians', unwittingly, unknowingly (Father forgive them, for they know not what they do) , promote medical idolatry daily, everywhere (almost). They are rewarded for succumbing to the false theory, to fema, to the planned pandemic, with money, lots of money, thu…

I hope no one goes to a meeting nor an assembly of faithful followers of Jesus and wants to hear all about false religions for hours, nor to invite the perpetrators of false gospels to speak ! That would be so bizarre Scripturally, and contrary to all the directions in Scripture. How many religions of false medicine are there just in New York City alone ? (I'm not sure, but likely over a hundred?) How many doctrines of false medicine are there in a quick search online ? As many as you could look at just the headings for hours, let alone try to read or to discuss if it were possible. Is that something meant for believers, disciples, followers of Je…

A couple people I know, including a young man in our church, have asked me about this magazine they keep getting, "Tomorrow's World." Having perused it once, a light reading showed it is full of false doctrine, so I told the young man in my church, and he is no longer reading them. Today, a co-worker brought me one and asked me about it, so I went a little further into it, and found it is produced by "the Living Church of God," which is apparently an even worse offshoot of Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God, (WCoG). It is a weird mix of Armstrongism, law-keeping, (thus also Sabbath-keeping), and Jehovah's Witness false doctrines, such as the Holy Spirit being merely…

I don't see any Scriptural command for any non-Israelis to observe the Saturday Sabbath, except that the gates of Jerusalem were locked to itinerant merchants on Sabbaths to prevent their doing business with Israelis on Sabbaths. I believe it's as Passover-God said that any non-Israeli observing passover must follow all the rules He gave to Israel concerning it. But I believe the following Scripture applies to these, & other Israeli observances-Col.2:16 ""Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ."" …

False religions usually either start with a false prophet, or false teacher, and then usually, eventually, create a false Bible to supplant the real set of scriptures. For example. The Mormons started with a false prophet (Joseph Smith) and wound up having a set of false scriptures, the Book of Mormon. Mohammad, a false prophet, eventually had a false set of scriptures, the Quran, to supplant the real Bible. Here is the link to the Wikipedia article that has a more detailed history of the Quran.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Quran Here is a somewhat abbreviated, but very good idea, of the Quran, by the David Wood website, "Acts17Aploigetices,"…

In another site, I am having an "animated' discussion with a Seven-day-Adlibber who insists that Jesus is the archangel Michael, because that's what his guru, Ellen G. White, wrote. I proved to hin Scripturally that's false, but he still spreads that garbage. Here's the proof he's wrong: Jude 8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. Now, if Michael were the Lord, he wouldn't've called on the Lord to rebuke Satan ! …
