So my Dad's remaining brother contracted covid, as did his wife. (Just FYI - this is not a thread about covid, so don't make it so...just know that masking, "social" distancing, isolation, etc., were all practiced by the family and yet he and his wife contracted covid. Viruses are gonna virus...) My uncle, Dave, ended up in ICU on a respirator. Today I was told that they had to take him off everything - they had to remove air from around his heart and lungs, so the oxygen had to be removed. He had suffered a number of strokes and there is no brain activity. And they said it is only a matter of time. My uncle is saved, and will be reunited with his parents, my da…

The military takeover of Myanmar is growing worse. I know of a missionary family who was successfully evacuated with other foreigners, but others are still there. The local church I work with here in Taiwan is close friends with a Myanmar pastor who has disappeared, he was last heard from on February 18th. People are being murdered in the streets, and as they flee from the military/police they head to churches for safety, but these places of refuge are ignored by the military/police, they are breaking down the gates and doors to arrest anyone who flees into these buildings, and even arrest the pastors for giving the people sanctuary. https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en…

Please pray for my friend Laurie. Her husband Doug died of Covid-19 this morning, Saturday, October 10th. Doug was also a friend. We found we had a number of things in common. Both of us were in the Army in Germany when the Berlin Wall was built in August 1961. We both were in interested in history. Put Laurie, and all wives and husbands who have a spouse suffering with Covid-19. Thanks.

We are literally burning! CA has over 3400 SQUARE MILES that have burned (just to give a little sense of distance, it's 2200 miles from here - Sequim, WA - to Indiana...). OR and WA are also burning. We have lost over 330,000 acres in just 24 hours here in WA. There are fires raging in other western states as well Now, I know someone will probably say that CA is reaping what the government has sown re: closing churches, etc. And that is quite likely. But I do know that it is also a mismanagement of land care by Democrat officials who like to claim environmental care (you know, tree hugger stuff...don't chop 'em down at all) over anything else. Problem is that when a …

I learned last night of the passing of Bonita Sharp. We met her when she came to college while my husband was in school. She married Gene Sharp and they have had a ministry setting up radio stations all over the world. She leaves behind her husband, 5 kids, sister, parents, and a slew of friends. We know, as Christians, that she is in Glory. She kept her appointment and was ready to go, even though it was unexpected - a head-on collision in a rain storm. But the grief for those left behind is very real, as those of us who have lost loved ones know. Please pray for the family.

Tonight Trump announced that he and his wife have tested positive for covid. Now, there are a lot of thoughts on the thing (I'm not convinced it's a pandemic...a virus, yes). But the fact remains that they've tested positive, so we need to pray for them.

Please pray for our Revival starting tonight through Sunday. God is blessing His church. Last week Mimi who is 90 came forward for Baptism, she came from a Catholic background and is on fire for God. Our state just imposed more restrictions for meeting, so please be in prayer. Thank you

So recently I've lost both my driving jobs; one because they canceled all the bus trips due to coronavirus and the other because I failed my yearly CDL physical due to my Type II diabetes. I have an interview this Friday for a really good job that came "out of the blue" totally surprising me. Without God the deck would be stacked against me in getting it but maybe ya'll can petition the Almighty on my behalf. Thanks.

Could you please pray for Candlestick? She is still very exhausted from her cancer/treatments. The nurse has told her it could take up to two years to boune back. However...the other day the doctors discovered a spot on her spine. She will be having tests done to see if it's cancer or not. Please be in prayer for her and for her husband, Joe.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ: I apologize for my lengthy absence from Online Baptist. The past year has been quite difficult and I'd not had the energy to spend the time here I'd hoped. As the Lord permitted, I was given strength to write articles for a Christian publication ("Rapture Ready") for over the last 2-3 years, and spent what energy I had on that. I also have been away so long I had no idea where to post this, nor under what topic. So please forgive me if I erred. My photo from before has disappeared as well, and I likely didn't upload a replacement properly either. The news I have to share today is that the time has come not to say "good…

Please pray for the church and college. The following was released from the school: It has come to our attention that allegations of inappropriate conduct have been made against Cameron Giovanelli, a member of our staff. Upon receipt of the notice of the allegations, we immediately placed him on administrative leave of all activities and responsibilities, to conduct a thorough and honest investigation. During the course of that investigation, Cameron Giovanelli tendered his resignation to the ministry and his resignation has been accepted. All responsibilities of any nature whatsoever, were permanently and immediately terminated with receipt of his resigna…

I would be so grateful if I could get some strong prayers/be put on your prayer list. I feel The Lord working on my heart about something very important and I need prayers for my doubts and my walls around my heart, to fall. I would appreciate it, so much. I also appreciate you, all! You all have been very helpful in helping to teach me things, that I was having difficulty with. Thank you! ❤️

My parents are still together but they have been arguing significantly (I don't live with them anymore). My father is unsaved, is a secular Jew, and my mother who was raised Catholic has in the past few years informed me of becoming "Christian" has been listening to false preachers like Joel Osteen and Bernardo Stamateas (and his wife Alejandra Stamateas) who don't preach on sin for obvious reasons. Because I am not fluent in Spanish, I had a feeling in my heart that the Stamateas family is promoting a false gospel and have been looking for confirmation. Yesterday, I found a website that exposed him, which confirmed my suspicion. I also had a really disconcerting c…

Just a bit over a year ago, my wife and I celebrated her year since she almost died, and spent 5 months in the hospital for a very serious health conditions. The prayers of the saints all over did mighty things, and my wife is still here, getting stronger each day as she continues in recovery. That being said, I have recently met another pastor, by phone, whose wife had suffered something similar, though lighter, and had to have a temporary ostomy. When the time came to have her bowel reconnected, apparently it failed, and flooded her abdomen with a great amount of stool and infected blood, which caused serious sepsis. This is virtually identical to what happened to …

The grace of God be with you all, I am Seriously afraid for my Grampa, He has cancer and there is a risk that He might die. He, along with most of my relatives are catholic. He has been a Catholic since he was born and now he is old. My Family has a very hierarchal system and It would be an affront to them to share the Gospel with Him, Being my Great Grandfather. I have tried talking to my Grandmother, and pointed her to a ministry that helps Catholics. Please pray that : My relatives would be saved : My Great Grandfather would be healed : My Grandma would come to the Lord : There would be revival In my Family and that us all and Th…

I would appreciate prayer for my husband, Randy. I will try to sum up what seems to me a long story...but this is going to be long. I'm sorry about that! Thursday morning while Randy was at a client's home, he went out to shovel. In these parts, black ice is a real and present danger during the winter. Well, he fell on black ice. His right leg went under him, and his left leg hyper-extended. He managed to get up (he was right by the van's bumper) but fell again right away. He rolled to the pavement, where there was no ice. Got up and began going back to the house, and fell in the snow. Three falls within a matter of minutes. Someone with Factor V Leiden's isn't sup…

Our church was very small to begin with, but over the last year it has shrunk (due to gossip and folks not liking what the Bible says about their sin...). We are an older church, meaning that most of us are close to 60 or older. And so the various health issues of aging affect us. Other issues do as well. One of our ladies just underwent back surgery. She will be in the hospital for 5-7 days, and then who knows how long to recover, with another surgery in 4-6 weeks. Her blood pressure is too low right now, so she is in ICU. Her name is Linda. Linda's husband, Jim, just found out that part of one of his lungs has collapsed, and there is a mass. Another lady,…

Hello Family of God, The person responsible for hacking my computers in every way possible is relentless in his pursuit (I'm quite certain I know who is responsible); it is my desire that this person repent from his sins before it is too late, because tomorrow in not promised for anyone. It is my desire for this person to come to the realization that the Devil does NOT care for him in the least, and Satan will not be "sharing" his Victory when all is said and done. This person is so hellbent in hindering my ministry that he attempted (many times) to falsely accuse me of doing a bad job at my workplace by tampering with the software which used to perform my work dutie…

I'm sure several of you remember Candlelight. She was an active member here for quite a while. She and I were out of touch for a while, but recently reconnected. She has asked me to post this prayer request. She was diagnosed with cancer. She has had surgery and the cancer removed. But she is in a lot of pain and still has a ways to go for recovery. Thanks for praying!

My son was involved in an accident, on one of our vehicles, and it looks like we will be sued. I can't go into details on here but sure could use some prayer. To compound that, it's lambing time, we have already lost 10 lambs. Then yesterday someone bought one of our pieces of skid steer/tractor equipment and, by the end of the day, severely damaged it, then stopped payment on our check. I sent their photo to the manufacturer and they said it was abused but I have received no word yet when a replacement part will be sent. I'm feeling pretty low.
